Strategy:

Malamar and Murcrow are my main attackers. Hydreigon acts as a dark patch once out. And darkrai is for setting up Knockouts but mainly for the free retreat. I am new to the community so excuse my lack of information or whatever else is missing. I just am looking for general guidance. Thank you.

DDE is useless here since youll never attack with Hydreigon. Add a Victini or two. Maybe 2 Trick Coins. Also a couple of Stadiums.

Hydreigon can be a niche attacker at times; however, Blend Energy might be the better choice since you can move it anywhere on the board whereas with Dragon Energy, you can't take it off of Hydreigon. This deck shouldn't be having too many problems with Energy once it gets going.

Awesome. Didn't even think of that. Thank you for the input.

Do my attackers seem solid? I have been thinking of getting the non ex promo darkrai which is basically a higher health honchcrow

Honchkrow? Ros? Am I missing something here? I thought honchkrow was last printed in phantom forces.

3 malamar EX and 3 dark patch consistency in having energy on the board and the quicker you can get out your attackers creates valid threat, you could also scarp the honchkrows for buffolants and sableye so you can hit EX's for hard w/o the use of status effects or combos and get your trainers back which seem to be running at low amounts in your deck.

Alright I'll look into it. And yes there is a print in roaring skies!

You might want to make sure on that; I don't see Honchrow in that set. If it's the one with Hypnoblast, it's from Phantom Forces. And if it's that one, I think there are better attackers you could be making use of, especially if you decide to add Blends. With Blend Energy, you can legitimately through in just about anything and have it work, which means you can easily tech for stuff you know you'll be playing or will struggle against.
