  • 3 Sableye
  • 1 Mr. Mime PLF
  • 1 Keldeo EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums 37
  • 4 Dark Patch
  • 4 Hypnotoxic Laser
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 3 Dark Claw
  • 2 Escape Rope
  • 1 Computer Search
  • 1 Energy Search
  • 3 Energy Switch
  • 2 Tool Scrapper
  • 4 Professor Juniper
  • 4 N
  • 3 Skyla
  • 1 Colress
  • 1 Ghetsis
  • 2 Virbank City Gym
Energy 12
  • 8 Dark Energy
  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
Strategy: This deck works similar to the Darkrai/Mewtwo decks of the past but with the new dark mewtwo ex (Yvetal EX) it seems like it could be even more powerful than before being able to attack a DCE to Yvetal and with dark patch and claw being able to attack for 80+ as early as turn 2 seems pretty good. With E Switch and Hammer reprinted the deck becomes even more lethal with sableye being able to stall out your opponent. I am not sure about the numbers of the T/S/S so i'd like help with that if possible, thanks!

Edit: Updated the list, took out hammers and added in +1 DCE +1 VCG +1 Energy Switch. Also -1 Sableye +1 Mr. Mime +1 Yvetal EX

I really like Yveltal. But I don't think that energy switch is coming back into format.

ENERGY SWITCH IS BACK IN THE FORMAT!!!! :D its reprinted in Legendary Treasures.

ok, sry about that outburst,

I like the deck, it seems like it could cause some serious isseus to the opponent,

i would
-1 Colress
-1 Energy search

+1 Virbank (you want at least 2 may 3 to counter other stadiums and actually get it in play)
+1 Energy Switch

other things to think about would be,
-1 Sableye
+1 Mewtwo EX for type coverage.

Where did you find this out, I believe that it's true but in the pokellector there's no energy switch.

RE: Darkrai EX/Yvetal EX

Love the list. I can't wait to test Yveltal.
Have you tested Dowsing Machine over Computer Search?

It actually is, it was reprinted in the Legendary Treasures set.

I haven't yet, but I probably will try it out to see if I like it.

Those are good suggestions, but I really am not a fan of Mewtwo EX in this deck because it's really slow in comparison to Darkrai EX and Yvetal EX. Colress is also very well positioned as a mid game supporter because of how many set up decks are in the format. IE TDK, Darkrai Variants, Klinklang, Weavile Eggs, Blastoise / Keldeo EX, Vir / Gen, etc. I would add another E Switch but I dont have anymore. However if anyone has a RH one I'll trade for it. I do want to add another VCG and I want to keep the E search as it is a good way to accelerate the deck early.

I agree that Mewtwo isn't as good right off the bat as Yveltal, but the two of them together are reeeeeally good. Yveltal loads up a ton of energy by typical means, then you start slamming and when the time is right, use it's second attack, and start moving energies off of it and onto mewtwo. It still does 90 damage, so it's good at swinging for the KO, and it saves your resources by moving them away from the revenge KO. Not saying it's the best, haven't tested enough yet, but it theorymons well enough.

True enough, but I still think i'd rather offload to another Yveltal EX or Darkrai EX for clean up since Darkrai EX snipes pokemon softened by Yveltal EX.
