While it is going to be a supported format, it won't be the "main event" per se, and won't be the main focus of most competitive discussion, I'd assume. It still sounds fun though, maybe I'll turn my RayBoar deck into RayEels when Rayquaza EX goes out of format.

I think building decks will be easier, more and fun, and cheaper in the second format, but the original format will most likely remain the most popular as you said.

Not a very wise strategy, but I try not to think about how much I spend on Pokemon stuff... just so long as I have money for everything else.

I used to play but I quit, I now just collect. Obviously buying singles would be easier, I have a list of cards I need. If I can obtain these from packs, I will open packs it's a lot more fun.
