Hi guys. I was hoping to run this deck in a HGSS-on format. Hope its pretty good!

Pokémon
3-3 Magmortar TR
2-2-2 Ability Emboaar ('Rollout' Tepig, 'Flamethrower' Pignite)
2 Reshiram BW
1 Shuckle Promo
2 Unown RETURN HS

Pokémon ~ 17

Trainers
2 Pokemon Communication
2 Switch
4 Energy Retrieval
2 Revive
3 Energy Search
3 SSU
2 Pokemon Collector
1 PETM
2 IQ
1 PONT
1 Twins
2 Seeker
1 Fisherman
2 Junk Arm

Trainers ~ 28

Energy
15 {R}

Energy ~ 15

Strategy: The aim of this deck is to force your opponent to deck out by discarding their entire deck. You do this with Magmortar. For {R}, Magmortar discards the number of cards from the top of your opponent's deck equal to the amount of {R} NRG attached to it. The downside is, if you flip tails, you discard it all.

Emboar is to attach massive amounts of NRG to Magmortar.

You may be wondering, why Reshiram? I will explain later.

Shuckle is for draw power. Whenever you attach an energy to it, you draw a card. With Embar, paired with unown return, you could draw a lot of cards. Alterantively, we could use 2-2 Ninetales for drawpower.

Individual Card Analysis
Magmortar The main man. It is the main focus of the deck, allowing you to discard many cards from your opponent's deck.

Emboar Magmortar's partner in crime. Emboar lets you attach obscene amounts of energy to Magmortar, to fuel his Top Burner. However, it is also used for Shuckle Promo, as drawpower.

Reshiram I will explain Reshiram now. The main problem of this deck is time. If you're in a sudden death match, or something, you probably won't be able to discard their whole deck in that short period of time. Therefore, for that match, you scrap the idae of discarding your opponent's cards, and focus on using Reshiram to KO your opponent. Magmortar and/or Emboar if you're desperate.

Shuckle Promo Shuckle is your main source of drawpower. Paired iwth Unown RETURN and Emboar, it can let you draw many cards at a time.

Ninetales The other form of drawpower. I'm not sure which to use, so please help me decide! Ninetales lets you discard and draw 3.

All other cards should be self-explanatory.

Please give me feedback and help me out!

EDIT: Has been changed massively after some playtesting.

Two junk arms would work well in this deck but idk what you'll take out. What's fsl by the way?

How would Junk Arms help, other than to get trainers back?

EDIT: Sorry, just realised that they were good for re-using the ever important Energy Retrieval/Search

RE: Deck Burn (Magmortar TR/Emboar BW#20) (Needs division in title)

So you can get energy retrieval back if you need more than four in a game. Sorry I didn't explain earlier. I was distracted when I posted

Dude, just replace the reshiram with 1-1 Magmortar. If you feel like you are going to lose on time, 2 Reshiram simply will not help you. It will only net you 2-3 prizes. Just stick to the main idea of the deck, which is mill. Also, a card that works REALLY well with the shuckle engine is Research Records. Try to fit in as many as possible. You can rearrange your top decks so you can get as much energy as possible. Magmortar works best when you try to do a lot at once. Another thing, energy search is pointless. Why not just run more energy? It would be a lot better. Replace those with a shuckle and a 4th SSU. Revive is also fairly useless. Replace them with a single rescue energy.

I think this deck has way more potential than people give it credit for, so good luck in testing.

You need a lot more energy. At least 25. You want to burn through as much of their deck as humanly possible on T2 so that if you flip tails, it doesn't hurt as bad. Also, up your Twins to 4 since you won't ever be taking prize cards.

Your T/S/S line IMO should look something like this:
4 Fisherman
4 Twins
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Energy Retrieval
4 Research Records
2 Seeker

You NEED 25-30 energy because you HAVE to be able to put somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 energy on Magmortar ASAP so you can mill them effectively. I've tested this deck and milling 5-10 cards usually isn't enough. I'm thinking of upping my energy to somewhere between 30-35 if I can figure out what to replace.
