I personally love the texture of your recent one. Unless you're planning to make an actual background, I think transparent would work better than grey.

It seems I've been working on Red on the down low for a bit. I ended up redrawing the lines and finishing! I abandoned it at one point and picked it back up, redrew the lines and experimented with colour. From this I learned that I really need to study the anatomy of the lower body. The legs took much longer than they should have to draw.

This makes me realize just how desperately I need to start practicing backgrounds. Your sketch looks better than my FINISHED backgrounds! I just can't bring myself to practice them... I guess part of me finds them boring. I mean, they can look awesome, but I get a bigger thrill from designing characters.

Wow, thank you Neko! I've found that practicing them isn't all that difficult. If it's just a sketch then you can use pretty minimal references. I do like thinking about my characters a lot more but it doesn't hurt to look at other areas now and then. Art is meant to be enjoyed and that's why most people do it after all.
Doodling and sketching. Work has been exhausting so I haven’t been able to do anything this week. I really like drawing Thea and made a partner for her keeping with the short and stumpy naming theme.
A wee muscly lass and a big fat guy. Two archetypes I don’t really draw that much so it’s nice to go back to this pair. I have tomorrow off so hopefully I’ll be able to make something out of Dom and more from Thea.

The one with the green hair looks like a mix from Simisage and Madara/Hashirama (clothes)
(Naruto Shippuden) in my opinion. But I like the drawings! Especially the one with the pink/red hair I like the hair!

Guess I better update. Thinking a lot about Doodle Quest which I backed so had a bit of fantasy on my mind...that's pretty much all I draw recently anyway.
Anatomical studies with pencil and paper coming in the future. I've already sketched some but they have flashes of nudity so I'll upload them elsewhere. Meanwhile, minor nudity below.
