@MlleFalki: Haha! Feel free to. There's always something I draw when it's in a big mess like that that catches someone's eye.
@JiJi-T: Thank you! I wanted to add some cracks onto its body to show more of a self destruct and when I couldn't I tested a dark green smog but it didn't look too great with the line colour. Trubbish look funny though.
I would wait until later (about 3 or 4 hours) to post an update but my wrist has started aching and from what I’ve read it’s good to stop early rather than power through it.
Last thing to sketch is her arms. Might make her hair chair a little more curvy and add some hair flowers somewhere. We’ll see.
Yeeeaahh. We’re looking okay. Might redraw the fringe but happy with the pose and anatomy even though I could go back and do the hands and head again. I could lengthen her thighs a little but I'm the kind of person that will tweak something forever, make it worse and not move on.
Experimenting and trying to blend in line art. Might not look all that great for this though.
So I've ended up going two ways with this. One is my old edgy "look how messy I can make this" style and the other is after I looked up a couple of brush settings. Still not done. Got to add some more hair flowers in the back but I will be finishing on the finer of the two. It's still pretty flat but I think that's more to do with how I draw things. It doesn't help that I seem to be able to only draw head on poses.
Thanks! I kinda flip flop between styles. Depends when I learn something new.
Rough as heck character designs. Just putting some empty thoughts on a canvas. I’ll check back later to see if I have any ideas. March review coming soonish.
