BW/BW2 Denchura as Ariados' Evolution

Uh Ariodos and Denchura look nothing alike, body style-wise. Ariodos is more long and has skinny legs and a horn on his head. Denchura is WIDE, FAT legs, and no visable horn so far.

I rather believe it is an evolution; look at the colour difference between Spinarak and Ariados, then into yellow; which fits very well. My next point is the abdomen, notice it has some sort of purple marking, which could easily be a face. Similarly it has the two sets of legs like ariados, plus the extra set on top of it. Yet another thing is the general shape of the legs if you remove the fur, which makes it look identical to Ariados' legs.

My main point is, if you're going to make another spider pokemon, why make it so similar to ariados but not an evolution? It doesn't have eight legs like normal spiders, just like ariados. It has the two things on its back, just like ariados. It has some sort of symbol on its back, just like ariados. Thusly I can really see this as some sort of evolution; possibly thunderstone?

A final note against my previous points is that we don't have the sugimori; thus we cannot tell its actual appearance, which only time will reveal to us.

I think Mechanos and a bunch of others think otherwise.

Your point? The post states it has symbols on his back, I see none. And that really didn't prove me wrong.

It may not be an Ariados Evolution but it could be a Spinarak Evolution...

Spinarak--Lv. 22-->Ariados
Spinarak--Thunderstone-->Denchura

It could be , right?

OH MY ARCEUS!!! Does every new Pokemon have to be related to previous pokemon?

Of course not, but this isn't some giant leap of faith. This is based on evidence and hey, I could be wrong, but if this is a completely different line of spiders they didn't do a very damn good job of making it look new.

Is that really hard to see?

And besides, we aren't saying every new Pokemon are related to past ones, but Denchura has a lot of evidence going for it. Remove the hair from its legs and they look exactly like Ariados's. It only has two pairs of legs like Ariados. Although they are shaped differently, its abdomen has two protrusions. Plus it has markings on its back.

Honestly, I think that you are so against any new evolutions/pre-evolutions that you refuse to look at the evidence and see the similarities. The fact that you are trying to shut down any suggestions that Denchura is related to Ariados or Spinirak without real evidence to support your arguement just shows this.

SOOOO TRUE!!!! Im pretty sure there is a thread about every single one of the new pokemon that were revealed on Oha Suta, and how they are related to pokemon from previous generations.... >.>

Don't get me wrong. There are most certainly people who will speculate that any Pokemon is wildly connected to some other. A good example back in the day was Kecleon and Eevee. But this isn't the case there. Anyone claiming this has reasons. Teslantula is possibly related to Ariados because of design. Chromastone is possibly related to Nosepass because of design and colorscheme. Stackohats is possibly related to Jynx or Smoochum because Jynx is based off the Ganguro fashion, and this one looks similar to Smoochum and is based on the Gothic Lolita fashion. These are GOOD reasons. They may ALL be wrong, but they're good reasons.

Ya I think that the "markings" on its back is just a shadow of its back spike thing....

Denchura as an evolution for Ariados? NO, they look equally strong.

Denchura as a split-evolution for Spinarak? Sure...Why not?

I agree, i bet if you shave all the hair off Denchura, it would look a lot like Ariados.

...Face-palm... I'm not letting of on my opinion until I see his face. His face will tell it all!

I do belive that Denchura is a member of the Spinarak Evolution family. I don't believe that...
- Spinarak/Ariados will evolve with a Thunderstone.
However, he could evolve via:
Link Trade with item
Stone

I still support my decision that Denchura is evolved with the Spinarak family, but TheDarkLucario brings up a good point, we need to see the face of the pokemon. The Sugimori art will tell, or rather show, all.
