I just got home from Battle Roads, where I played DialgaChomp, which I've played since the first week of states last year. There were very few PlumeTomb decks and 8-10 DialgaChomp decks. Everybody said that PlumeTomb would dominate Battle Roads, and that SP would fold to it. I and others argued this, to no avail. But I believe Battle Roads have (And still are going to) be dominated by DialgaChomp. First and Second place of Masters and First in Seniors went to it. PlumeTomb was squashed like a speck of dust. (I won Seniors, by the way.)

I noticed this also.... there was 1 Vilegar/Plumetomb (what ever you want to call it) and 6-7 DialgaChomp decks just in Master's. However, not a single Dialga deck topcut and the winner for masters was Jumpluff (what are the odds that the deck everyone thought was dead wins....). Not really sure of the other age groups as I wasn't really paying attention to theirs.

And I won Seniors Battle Roads with VileGar and didn't see a SINGLE DialgaChomp in any of the age divisions.

It's not going to be LuxChomp like you keep saying, and it won't dominate BRs. Maybe in your area, all 'round? Nope.

2nd in Masters, lost to a world qualifier using Dialgachomp ( who ran the deck flawlessly). I can't really complain, I ruined everything else. I'm surprised at the matchup, Dialgachomp actually has a pretty good advantage. It's not domination though.

I voted for Viletomb because if played right it can probably beat Dialgachomp and because I am biased in thinking of running it.

Edit: O'ya I just remembered.... the one Vileplume deck that was played topcut and none of the 7-8 Dialgachomp decks topped.

BTW the reason I said "I voted for Viletomb because if played right it can probably beat Dialgachomp and because I am biased in thinking of running it." is because you asked why I voted for Vilegar.

What state is Source in? (Sounds like Montana but I have no idea...)

This is so funny. I thought once BR's started we would really see if VileGar could compete with DialgaChomp.

Now we are debating about where it was played and who won what. This is great.

Doesn't matter I think everything will change with Triumphant though

Edit - by the way BR's for us in two weeks. I'll let you know then!

NJPokeDad - Well, DialgaChomp took all of our top spots, so it's not much of a contest. (And make sure you let me know.;))

Cimurph - I see. Your players must be very different from ours! :p
 
Our BR top cut for masters was 3 Luxchomp, and myself playing Dialga G.
Seniors winner was playing Dialga G.
The Vileplume deck won in juniors randomly.
 
Sounds pretty average. Vileplume made me laugh a little, though.

Umm, I beat defeated DialgaChomp at BRs today with my Gengar/Vileplume/Spiritomb deck. I don't see what the big deal about DialgaChomp is. I beat it in 3 turns. I didn't even know that it was a would-be tier deck. Heck, I mean my deck before I bothered to come to PokeBeach and found out that everyone and their grandma had my deck. Anyway, maybe my opponent was unlucky or something. Either way, the win helped me on the way to win BRs today and get a shiny new medal to go with the won I got in spring BRs. :\

*runs away before DialgaChomp fans burn her at the stake*

Wanna know what the scary thing is? I did the exact same. Won today and Spring. VileGar didn't even really put up a fight.

beating dialgachoimp with Gengar/Vileplume/Spiritomb doesnt mean dialgachomp cant beat Gengar/Vileplume/Spiritomb
