DialgaChomp [ Dialga G Lv.X / Garchomp C Lv.X ]

^wow, that seems a good idea! can't wait to test it.
it is somehow better than bronzong G as it can't be sprayed lol

What could be putted in if you are worried about a mirror match? And dose anyone else think that mismagius UD has potential as a machamp counter (tech vs pokemon with psychic weakness) in this deck?

I've seen people play a 1-1 Blaziken FB Lv.X along with a Fire Energy if you're really really worried about the Mirror, Scizor, and Steelix matchups.

I think blaze is pointless because DGX could cancel off scizor's body and could take away steelix's metals with remove lost.

It just reinforces the matchups to make them more favorable. Mirror is the biggest reason to put it in.

As far as the Machamp matchup ToxiTank is definitely the way to go. You can OHKO them w/ Lucario GL out, which you should already be running, and you should already be running Skuntank G with stadiums. And if you get the chance, you can always belt it and/or play down Snowpoint Temple. When it's badly damaged, Poke'Turn, send up Crobat G (or anything else with free retreat), bench Toxicroak G, energy back on, Energy Gain, retreat. You've got a fully restored Toxicroak back out OHKO'ing Machamps. Meanwhile you can charge a Garchomp C for prizes later and when you're down to the last Cyrus (or before then) you can search out an Aaron's Collection to get back Toxi IF they somehow manage to get it KO'd. You've got 4 Poke'Turns, an Aaron's, and that many turns to charge a Garchomp C Lv.X for snipes. I don't think they can kill your Toxi that many times in a row, but just in case.

With Mirror Match, it comes down to who gets the better hand unless you tech for it.

What about flygon lv.X? Isn't it a big threat to this deck? My friend plays flygon /machamp so it is a hard matchup for me. Should i just k.o it (flygon) with garchomp c lv.X if i can heal my dialga g lv.X on the same turn? (if it was damaged by extrema attack and didn't get k.o ed)

You should try to keep Machamp down by sniping Machops etc. ToxiTank is the foolproof way to not give up prizes. Flygon Lv.X is double weak to Garchomp C Lv.X. I love Flygon to death but being x2 weak to Colorless when Garchomp C is a two third majority in the current format makes me sadface.

The riskier answer to Machamp is Uxie Lv.X + Lucario GL with a Crobat G.

Anyone know any way to more easily deal with SP v SP matches aside from hope to get a decent hand and snipe Garchomp C?

When it comes SP vs. SP, you must tech for all your heart and soul. You must use PromoCroak G for Luxray, Garchomp for Garchomp, Dragonite FB for general, Mewtwo for solid SP, and Rapidash for other solid SP's.

It really honestly depends on the type of deck you're playing against...that's what usually brands Dialga/Chomp as a more difficult kind of SP deck to play. Usually, you want to tank with Dialga G Lv.X using a combination of Deafen to slow down your opponent, Special Metals to take hits and survive them, and Expert Belt to add more HP and damage. With a combination of Warp Energy to move to the Bench, Bronzong G to move the Warp off Dialga to a Garchomp C, Leveling Up to remove all the damage counters off your SP Pokemon, and Poke Turning Garchomp, it allows you to tank for essentially the whole game.

That's pretty much the bare bones of it, but against specific decks, this will not work.

Drifblim was originally a tech for Jumpluff late game because it turns into a 120 HP tank that can soak a hit when all you have is Dialga, Garchomp, and Drifblim out and they try to use Warp Point for an easy prize. Even though Jumpluff is hardly played anymore, it can still turn into a monster late-game and usually gets around 2 free prizes of Azelf/Uxie because it can hit for handy weakness. Just in general a decent tech if you can't take enought prizes against a certain deck.

How does Dialgachomp perform against Luxchomp (and most other SP for that matter) in general? I just realised that the healing strategy with Garchomp C Lv. X has one major flaw: what if Galactic Switch OR Healing Breath is Sprayed? If Galactic Switch is Sprayed, sure, you could use another Poke-turn to re-use it, but if Healing Breath is Sprayed you will need to wait a turn before you can level it up again, unless you have another Garchomp C on the bench. Meanwhile, even though the damaged DGX is on the bench, it is likely that it will be sniped to death.

Also, assuming you get an early Deafen lock going, and bring out Promocroak to kill their Luxray (which resists Metal) early, while setting up a full tank, does Dialgachomp have a decent chance of winning the match against Luxchomp?

The importance of Techs such as those is mainly dependent on your metagame. If there's a lot of SP (Luxchomp, Sablelock, Dialga/Garchomp, Blaze/Chomp, BlazeRay, etc.), then they become extremely useful against those decks. Against decks like Vilegar, Gyarados, and Machamp/Donphan, they are not as useful.

Since the increase of lostgar, how would you tech dialgachomp to play against it? Does it matter if you run a low pokemon count? i run 17 Pokémon as well so would i just snipe their set up and remove lost those potential energies on gastlys and haunters?
