After being inspired by PMJ's Scramble Run, I decided to do one of my own. I recently got a copy of Pokemon Black Version for my birthday, so I decided I would do a Scramble on it. However, it will not be a true Scramble, because I am not mature enough to use a not-fully-evolved Pokemon against the Elite 4. To make up for this, however, I will be doing what I call a Scrambled Eggs Run. Basically, I will hatch the specified Pokemon and trade it over once I reach a Route it looks like it could live in, as if I caught it there. Any Pokemon can be chosen! There are, however, a few limitations:

1: No Ditto.

2. No Unown.

3. No Legendaries.

4. I need something with Fly and Surf, but not necessarily on the same Pokemon.

5. Try to give Pokemon with different typings than ones selected before.

6. If I think you are trolling me, I have the right to refuse a Pokemon.

7. Only ONE Pokemon per person. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

8. If a Pokemon has a split-evolution, you MUST specify which one it should evolve into.

9. First person chooses Starter. However, you aren't just limited to Unova Starters, you can choose ANY starter from ANY game! The options are: Kanto Starters, Pikachu, Eevee, Johto Starters, Hoenn Starters, Sinnoh Starters, and Unova Starters.

I will check back here about 4 PM tomorrow and see what my team is.

Well, I realized that 4 PM is incorrect because that's only what my time would be, so I decided to check back a bit earlier.

Samurott- EPIC!!
Sableye- Awesome, especially the fact it has no weaknesses. I've heard some good things about Sableye, can't wait to try it out.
Pidgeot- YESS! I WILL NAME IT WOODSTOCK AFTER THE BIRD FROM CHARLIE BROWN, AND THEN I WILL OWN STUFF WITH IT!

Well, looks like a good team so far, I can hardly wait to check back later.
 
Blui129 and Paddy185: I believe I clearly said that I was not mature enough to use a not fully evolved Pokemon. Because this is the case, I will be forced to evolve those Pokemon.

Well, I'm back! And lookie here, a full team!

Luxray- OMG, I thought that I would get this guy earlier today, that is SOOO weird!
Amoonguss- Awesome. Can't wait to get my Goomba!
Gothitelle- I had wanted a Psychic type, and it was basically a choice between Alakazam, Hypno, Musharna and Gothitelle (I have used Gardevoir and Gallade in previous games). I can't wait to see how it turns out!

So, to recap, the team will be Samurott, Sableye, Pidgeot, Luxray, Amoonguss and Gothitelle. Honestly I couldn't ask for a better team! I will get started with this as soon as I can.

Well, this IS my first-ever Challenge Run, so it should be easy. Y'know, as an introduction.
Anywho, I have just finished breeding the required Shinx, Pidgey, Foonguss and Sableye.
Some got cool egg moves (Pidgey got Brave Bird, Shinx got Elemental Fangs). I would have bred a Dark Pulse Gothita by now, but nobody on the GTS wants to give me a female one for the Zorua I put up for offer... Well, I should have it by tomorrow.
 
So sorry about the wait everybody, life's just been crazy for me. Earlier this morning, I had gotten all the right Pokes onto my White Version, all ready to be traded to Black, so I thought, "Hey, why don't I start now?" and so I did.

So, I started the game, named my character Ruby. I chose Oshawott (it'll be the only one I don't trade in) and proceeded to wipe the floor with Bianca and Cheren. I named my lil Oshawott Sammy. Get it, cause, cause, it evolves into SAMurott...yeah... Anyway, I go through the necessary catch tutorial. I catch a Patrat of my own, in the hopes that I can trade it over for Woodstock the Pidgey once I get to Accumula Town. However, those hopes are bashed once I find that they won't let me trade yet. Oh well. Anyway, I thwomp N, all the trainers on Route 2, and Bianca (again). Cheren gives me a bit of trouble, since I do not yet have a good counter for his Snivy. But I STILL CANNOT TRADE :angry

So now I have to beat Cilan, and without Woodstock, I am just about stuck. What do you suggest I do? Should I mass-grind Sammy so I can beat that Pansage into oblivion? Should I break the rules and get the Pansear? And most importantly, what do I have to do before I can trade? THE FATE OF UNOVA HANGS IN THE BALANCE!
 
If you get Dewott I think it learns Fury Cutter at level 20 (possibly be wrong) so if you want to stick to just having your Oshawott that could be the best option.
I won't really care if you use Pansear against Pansage; I used Pansage against Panpour in my Mono-Fighting team (but tbf I didn't actually have a Fighting type at that time).
 
You are absolutely right, Dewott does get Fury Cutter at level 20. However, because it would be such a hassle to grind that high, I'll go with using Pansear then boxing him right after. I think trading is available as soon as you save Munna from Team Plasma in the Dreamyard, so it shouldn't be too long till it gets on track.
 
Well, I'm back. And time to continue the run!

After being forced to break the Scramble Rules and use a Pansear, I managed to beat Cilan down rather quickly. Then, Fennel dragged me into her lab and broke the 4th wall by saying she was going to collect trainer's Save Files, and I went off to get some Dream Mist for her nefarious schemes. One Team Plasbad beatdown later, I can FINALLY TRADE. I send Sableye, Pidgey, Gothita and Shinx over. I leave Foonguss for later because, technically speaking, I won't get it until I go thru Pinweel Forest. Some grinding and some trainer smashing ensues, after which Smoky the Shinx evolves and becomes even MORE beast. Then, I grind a little more, during which Sammy the Oshawott evolves. Then, in a heated battle with N, Woodstock the Pidgey evolves.

With Sableye, the only thing you really have to watch out for in Nacrene Gym is Crunch, but I don't think you'll have too much trouble with it.
 
You weren't forced to break any rules. The whole point of the scramble challenge is to use the Pokemon given to you.

If it were up to me, I'd say you failed, but it's your challenge. Good luck with the rest of the run, should you choose to continue.

Well, it was either that or mass-grinding Sammy as if I was Nuzlocking, which would take a while. It was just really bad planning on my part, since I thought it would be like in HGSS where you could trade as soon as you got your Pokeballs.

Well, Goblinda destroyed Lenora's team. WHERE'S YOUR DOG NOW?!?! Team Plasbad then decides to show up and steal a famous historical artifact for no apparent reason. I am forced to chase after them without any help (the police are all working on the many people who broke the HM laws), and numerous wildlife conservationists stop me from continuing my duck- I mean, villain hunt, to teach me about how they blend in with nature. Needless to say, I ripped through them. I stole back the Dragonite Skull (since that's obviously what it is), and then dumb Lenora stole it from me... Why let it go to waste in some museum when they could revive the fossil and have it beating things up under a trainer's control? Oh, right, the restoration room is the size of a portapotty.
AND CROSSING SKYARROW BRIDGE WITHOUT A BIKE TAKES FOREVER.
