Adding on to this really fun fact, the Killer Whales hunt the sharks by biting their tails and... flipping them over. Yep. If you flip over a shark onto its back, its brain becomes scrambled and shuts down.

To add to this fact, if you drag a shark backwards in water it will drown.

Also, Orcas hunt their own "cousins," the dolphins.

That is because no water is flowing through their gills. When fishing, if the hook ever damaged the fish or was extremely tired from the fight, I would "push" water past them with my hand or glide them through the water to get water flowing into their mouth (and subsequently gills). It helped injured fish to an extent, but usually they were so injured that it didn't matter (which is partly the reason why I've lost motivation to fish).
