Dirty Water (Blastoise Floatzel)

So, sets have rotated and I'm back to see what's up in the new format. From what I have laying around I came up with this. (Updated 7-20-11 9pm EST)
--- Pokemon --- 21
3-2-3 Blastoise UL
2-2 Floatzel UL
3 Mantine HGSS
2 Manaphy UL
2-2 Zoroark BW

--- TSS --- 24
4 Pokemon Communication
3 Junk Arm
3 Rare Candy
2 Pokemon Reversal
2 PETM
3 PONT
1 Juniper
4 Pokemon Collector
2 Interviewer's Questions

--- Energy --- 15
12 Water
3 DCE

--- Total --- 60

Standard strategy. Blastoise gets to choose whatever he wants to hit for 100. (or 200 on Active Reshiram/Typhlosion) Water Accel with Floatzel. Early game goes to Manaphy and Mantine. Zoroark is there because I honestly think he should be in every deck.

I'm also thinking to boost Floatzel to 3-3, but I don't really see a need, just a thought. I will be running Kyurem come September, but I'm not sure what to replace and how many to run. I was thinking 3 and maybe cut out manaphys/mantines. With that, Eviolite may be good to pair with Kyurem. May want to run twins to then have a better draw for that pair (Kyurem & Eviolite)

TY for any comments and suggestions.

I would cut down the Juniper and one Mantine (since you have multiple great starters) and add a 1-1 Floatzel line. Why? With Catcher running rampant, they could easily bring up Floatzel, Sonicboom with a Plus Power for KO. The more Flotazels help keep your sniping and with consistency throughout the game. Oh, and replace Reversal with Pokemon Catcher. That is a must. Other than that, this list looks great and solid. Love the Manphy + Wash Out combo! Peace!

zoroark has basically no point in this deck. yes its pretty cool, but serves no purpose. you could take out the 2-2 zoroark, along with a collector. you have 3 dual ball and would have collector thats 9-15 basic search. then add kyurem and eviolite.

-2-2 Zoroark
-1 Pokemon Collector
+3 Kyurem
+2 Eviolite.

or keep the collector and make it a 2-2 kyurem and eviolite. but for now, i guess that would do.

hope i helped.

First off all, this is clearly pre-emerging powers, which is why he has pokemon reversal, so Kyurem and Eviolite are illegal. And, Zoroark is huge, allowing you to deal with the common Zekrom, who would otherwise demolish this deck. I'd recomment these changes instead:

-1 Squitle there is no point in a 4-2-3 line, 3-2-3 is better
-3 Dual Ball with 4 of the more reliable collectors, these aren't needed
-4

+3 Junk Arm this lets you reuse trainers, staple card in any deck
+1 DCE with it speeding up both Zoroark and Blastoise I think 1 more is good

Okay, that sounds good. Sorry I didn't mention this was pre EP since I started talking about my future plans.

Would it be too much to run 4 DCE? and maybe 1 less water then?

also updated.

I was also thinking about either special dark energy or plus powers. Maybe the plus power for more of a choice. With Junk Arm I could have even more opportunities.

with PlusPower
Blastoise OHKO Yanmega
Zoroark OHKO Zekrom and Reshiram

thoughts?

If you can find room for it without sacrificing consistency its good. However, I wouldn't put more than 2 because this is mostly a snipe deck, and if you need more you can always junk arm them back.

I think you need a 3-3 Floatzel line. With catcher imminent and Yanmega flying everywhere your Floatzel aren't going to last too long.

-1 Mantine
-1 Juniper

+ 1-1 Floatzel

I was talking about future plans. (meaning pro-emerging powers) i realize those are illegal NOW. im not that crazy stupid. but i forgot about zekrom. just saying. and i agree for your changes.
