Disappointed in EX choices?

Since they pretty much made it obvious it was going to be only legendary Pokemon that would be ex's I pretty much "got used to it" and moved on. My impression was that they'd get every single legendary ex-ified. But now with Battle Boost revealed and XY creeping up, I'm worried whatever legendary that are left, may not get to shine in glory. If that's the case then I will definitely be disappointed. I guess the only thing left for them to do for the missing ex's is probably just continue the ex era with XY. Although if that's the case, I'm sure the ex haters will be livid.

I hope they introduce a set with like 9 or 10 EX's in them (to just finish them all), which will be the final BW set.

That way all the legendaries will be completed. And it won't be that strange. Didn't unseen forces have like 11 or 12 ex's?

I don't think that will happen with EX Battle Boost probably being like COL was for us.

I am super pumped about EX Battle Boost actually, I don't really mind Japan exclusive sets.

They are only doing legendaries, I am not sure why I preferred it before when any Pokemon could be an EX. To be honest I don't like Holo's I think they are worthless crap so I don't collect them. I'd rather have EX's and Full Arts of my favourite Pokemon

This is my first format playing competitively so maybe I'm the only one who likes the ex based format. I don't really know why people hate it so much

I don't play, but for collectors it's rather boring. We know legendaries are powerfull, but so are other Pokemon. It's nice to have a plethora to choose from . The EX's are boring to be honest. Though I like the Full Arts

It's my first format too. Although I don't mind them, there are definitely occasions where I wish they didn't exist. I feel like they have limited a lot options for some cool stage 2 decks. With exs around, you better set up quick or else they'll wallop you! So if they made stage 2 exs....I feel like it would be a mess/slightly unfair compared to the basic exs TCG-wise.

I'm disappointed that there is no Suicune EX or the remaining Regis. Or a Lugia that isn't Team Plasma. I feel like whoever planned the sets just picked whatever was popular or didn't care about trios unless they were Gen V pokemon. Although if that was the case... We're missing normal Landorus and Thundurus.

And no Shiny Samurott makes me SMH. They wanna promote BW Pokemon but they don't have a full shiny Starter trio?

EX is a lot better then prime L.V. X days nothing much really came out of that

Whoaaa now. That's totally wrong. LV. X's and Primes were amazing back when they were in format. Dealing 60 damage on T2 with Donphan... dealing 150-170 with Machamp.... insta KO's with Gardevoir. Mwah! It was awesome.

Flygon Lvx was amazing back in the format, or Yanmega and Donphan Prime they were amazing and expensive Yanmega went up to $60-$100 at one point.

I don't really like the artwork for the Primes from HGSS. Lots of weird, angry, CG Pokémon. Hell, they even tried to make Mew look pissed off. Lv. X Pokémon also had the whole "popping out of the box" thing, but did it MUCH better, in my opinion. There was more variation to the artwork styles, and the Pokémon looked more like themselves. I don't have too many Lv. X's, since I haven't focused on collecting that era at all, but I do have a Gengar Lv. X that I pulled myself from a 3-pack blister that I got on a good sale and it's one of my favourite (non-FA) UR cards artwork wise.

For the most part, I'm kind of ambivalent about the EX artwork. Some of the regular EXes look great (Mewtwo EX is my favourite EX artwork wise), but mostly they just look crowded. The FAs on the other hand, are just gorgeous. Whatever future is in stock for the Pokémon TCG, I really, really, really hope they continue making full art cards. It's by far my favourite of all the UR/SR gimmicks.

I would of liked to see more unknown Pokemon be EXs and evolved pokes.

Examples would be:
Dragonite ex
Excadrill ex
Sesmitoad ex
Zebstrika ex
Golurk ex
Throh ex
Sawk ex
Manaphy ex
Rotom ex
Lucario ex
Regi trio ex
Skarmory ex
Tauros ex
Miltank ex

I prefer the original Ex's, Lvx's I thought some were nice I prefer the Platinum series ones. Prime's I actually liked, but didn't like the Legend cards which were their first attempt at full arts. I do love the new Full Arts, I don't own any, except Korean Mewtwo EX. I had a few full arts but not EX full arts. Still yet to pull one lol. Though I left at Noble Victories and have just came back so that's understandable.
