do you have control over pokemon or does it have control over you?

I've tryed stopping, and then I went to playing Yu-Gi-Oh!, which absoulutely stunk. So I went back to Pokemon and became a fanatic, heck, I'm under a whole month's of grounding from Pokemon and it doesn't hurt that much. I think if you really think about it, it's your choice. I think it helps manage your money. You could save your hard earned cash for a Porsche, or spend it all on Pokemon.
 
I'ts hard to stop buying them. My friend wasted all $300 of his Cristmas money on EX:Team Rcket Returns but not if you have bad luck like some people(ME) you usually don't get urges to buy them esp. if you don't get a lot of money(ME again) So I haven't bought them in about a month to get back ontopic.
