Well, I was browsing the deck giradge, and I noticed that there wen't very many Flygon decks.

I've been hearing that Flygon is gunna be TBDIF, but I havn't heard of many people using it.

And I'm starting to think, is Flygon all it's cracked up to be?

I'm thinking about using a Legoes deck for Worlds this year, but then I remembered how much Flygon kills g Decks.

Do you think that Flygon is going to be used enough to really worry about using a g deck???

Flygon is Tier one, but it DOES NOT deserve all the hype it gets. It is because of said hype that it will be the number one most played deck out there.

I'd say low Tier 1 to high Tier 2. It is very overhyped, but that doesn't mean it still isn't a threat. Many who are using Flygon are trying to optimize the speed of the deck, improving its odds as a competitor. Not to mention that Flygon combos with most anything, so you don't know quite what to expect.

So you think it would be bad to use a g deck at Worlds?

well really and truely any deck with a lvX as a main attacker ie Gallade 4 X, Infernape 4 X, Machamp etc all have to fear Flygon but as long as you can set up faster than flygon it shouldn't be too much of problem to beat it

That's right. It is a good deck but not like:"Woa, it is freaking awesome, all of my friends will play it, I will also request a banner that has its image on it"

I think g can EASILY set up faser then Flygon, with it being based on basics, Energy Gain, Flint's, Brongzong g, Level max, etc., it shoud be able to set up VERY fast.

Tier 1/Tier 2. Somewhere there, about where Rampardos was. It's usage will go down about the same too.

G decks will undoubtedly win Worlds regardless of GeChamp or Flygon. If not win, it'll be at least on every table, even in the finals.

dmaster out.

I agree, I might acually use Flygon tho lol
Depends on what I pull from my RR box :p

Yeah, I call Rampardos and Flygon "net-hype". Think about it. Nobody would be begging and crying for Flygon if they didn't see the "potential" online. I do see it as a good deck, but not the best. In fact, with Rising Rivals, I doubt there is a BDIF.

^ Yeah, a heck of alot of good decks tho X.X
I think Pokemon wanted to eliminate meta-game decks, so they made like 15+ good decks.

it's a good card, no use saying it isn't. it's more of a counter though, stadium users, LV.X users, and a bunch of stuff. i don't think it's BDIF though.

It beats most of the other trashy/half decent decks that people have been overhyping, so yeah, I figure it will do pretty well.

It could fall to Gengar due to resistance, Shadow Room, Fainting Spell, and a nice little thing called Dialga G LvX tech. Get it set up quickly, and it'll take it down.

Dialga G Lv. X as a tech vs Flygon? Fail. Take a look at the Lv. X's attack...you will be pwnt.

Plus Flygon can have an option called Weavile that counters the ghosts. ;)

If you do that you're slowing down your deck, whitch means G will kill you.

As has been said alreaddy, G can kill Flygon if it can get set up fast enough. If you have Weivile then your chances of setting up faster then a good G deck are very slim.

This. It's decent, but by no means Tier 1. I would say 1.5, at best. I just don't think it's that good.

I believe Weavile is a bit of a starter that gets you charged up and keeps you going. Just use Shadow Charge once, retreat for Flygon, boom.

If you still think that a T3 Flygon Lv. X is slow (rather easy to get), then note that I said it's an option.

It's the meta knight of the TCG
Everyone plaus it because they see everyone else winning with it.
Thus the gap between it and other decks becomes immeasurable.
Really, if a large enough group of people hyped up and played something like Dragonite, it would become the most played deck due to all the people who travel on bandwagons across the country.

It's a great deck, but I peronally think it has just as many weaknesses as it does strengths.

Agreed
It does counter some decks though.
