Does any one remember digimon

I liked digimon mainly around the first seasons just because it had alot of the cool orginal ones. (Kinda like Kanto) I remember watching the Digimon X movie with the digimon being... re-mastered not really just alot more detail and see this:Omnimon X

Savers/Data Squad is very story-oriented, even in the beginning, so I'd recommend checking it out.

Haven't even checked out Xros (for you n00bs out there, it's pronounced Cross) Wars. Though it's supposed to be good, the concept of it just sounds stupid.

Anyway, on topic. Though yes, they have sorta suffered over the past few years or so, most Digimon, in my opinion, honestly look a lot cooler than a Pokemon could ever dream of being. Like Brakedramon. And Examon. And JumboGamemon.

Digimon Savers is indeed story-oriented, but far too simplistic. The protagonist is so focused on his concepts on what makes someone manly, the series was practically preaching morals. The power levels continued to rise along the series, but ther intensity of the scenes didn't.

Digimon's main concept is to appeal with BA machinery that blows everything in sight to pieces (something Pokemon can't obviously turn to). Sure, the art something looks impressive, but the storylines they provided were sadly below the standards of my liking.

I loved season 1 and 2 of digimon. but after that it just got bad. season 4 was ok, but tamers and saver sucked, and i never managed to further than a few episodes past Xros Wars. IMO the ending the season 2 was bad. dunno about any of you but to be being digi-destined felt like it was exclusive: that only a few kids get the opportunity to save the digital world, by season 2's end everyone in the world has a digimon partner. that kinda just left a bad taste in my mouth. its a shame tho, season 2 was prob my favorite.

I absolutely loved Digimon. It was awesome. Im not sure if it's because I was so young, but it was the coolest thing ever. The cactus one (Cactusmon?) was my favorite, but I remember Agumon, Patomon, Gatomon. The theme song was extremely awesome, I'm about to go look it up on YouTube XD. I also remember a lot about a movie, it was 2 parts and the first part they were in this computer program fighting a virus.... Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

It was an important part of my childhood, but anything of the recent stuff I've tried to watch has been repulsive to me.

If you're talking about the dub (appropriately titled Digimon: The Movie), that technically wasn't the end, and just a compilation of a prequel to the series (where the first on-screen DigiDestined were the only ones in the entire city to see the fight between Greymon and Parrotmon), a short movie called Our War Game (which involved Omnimon and the virus you were talking about, Diaboromon), and a heavily cut Hurricane Touchdown!! that had a heavily edited storyline that claimed that one of the protagonists created the conflict in Our War Game, and that conflict survived or something and corrupted his Kokomon companion to make the villain of the third part of the movie. Needless to say, the compilation and editing of those 3 movies made the movie relatively unfavorable, though nostalgic for anybody who happened to have watched and enjoyed it as a child.

I watched a few episodes from a couple of the first seasons. It never really grew on me though. I did have a favorite, that wolf-like one with stripes? Something like that...

Digimon! I remember that. My favorite was the cat one and the orange flying pig type thing. I think I only watched the 1st season ep. and the one were they get stuck in the Digimon world. I kind of liked how they could transform then they could turn back into their cute, little form

I watched the first episode of Xros Wars when it first came out, and I think it was okay, but I don't intend on watching any other episodes (Sort of like my opinion on Data Squad).

I believe season 2 was my favourite, but I honestly can't remember why. I liked season 3, but I can't remember anything about it past the first episode (aside from one random episode in the middle). Also, I really liked Frontier (Season 4). It had quite a bit of back story in it. As for season 1, I can't remember much of it either. =/

Digimon began as a virtual pet franchise very similar to Tamagotchi. Pokemon originated as an RPG. They're two completely different things.
