Does anyone else find Dawn the most annoying female in Pokemon? If not person?

I thought Dawn was ok. I didn't love her, but didn't hate her.
What makes you dislike her so much? xD
 
frankly I think jessie james and meowth are way more annoying. They are responsible for like 90% of pokemon battles that occur in the show, because of their sheer amount of appearances, and those battles aren't even fun to watch anymore because Team Rocket just gets beaten every time.
 
You shouldn't say 'I hate Dawn' near my friend. She drew a picture and made a story, saying that "[Ash, Dawn, and Brock] took care of [Her] for 2 years," after she got lost in the woods. I am on the neutral side however.
 
She is leaving. It has been discussed about so many times now. During the series I got to say that she was annoying in some of the episodes, but actually watching her throughout the various seasons she had somewhat improved more into my liking. So she was kinda annoying to me at the beginning of the series, but then get less annoying throughout the series.
 
Dawn was just dull to me, I'm glad she's being replaced with Iris, Iris seems so wild :p
 
We don't know how Iris's personality is yet. :p

Dawn was kinda dull, but she somewhat improved after some seasons in Diamond/Pearl. Though she will be visiting Ash, Iris, and Dento in the Isshu Region.
 
In response to banned dude's question, it's because she takes up the whole of the series with her darned contests.
 
To be honest, I loved the contests, which is why I kind of liked Dawn. However, I wish that they had a funnier female protaganist. Hopefully Iris will give that. She seems like an very animated character, which I like. I gotta say, I am going to miss contests though. I think this new season is going to give a good change though. :)
 
Are you nuts?!?! i think Dawn was the least annoying out of all of them! the contests are fun to watch, as Llavaa says above ^^. Team rocket is probably the most annoying clogging up most of the episode (about 5 mins). it can atleast be replaced w/ a wild Pokémon battle or Paul/Barry battle.
 
I don't like contests at all, but I thought May was adorable. Dawn, however, was pretty bland. I'm happy she's leaving.
 
I personally like Dawn, though I can see why some people may find her annoying. The only main female I liked more than Dawn was May, although it took a few episodes for her to really get on my good side.

I think personally Team Rocket is more annoying as well. They are not even decent Villains anymore (they were never good to start with). Their plots are repetitive (although granted the majority of Pokemon plot points are repetitive) and they can't do anything right unless they're good guys or in some cases like Jesse winning a contest that Dawn is not part of.

As for contests themselves, I don't hate them (I do like that they do things on the contests that would look awesome in real life though could never happen in the game) but if they are not in the next season of Pokemon I won't be complaining about it either. Still, I expect them to be in the next season, I have seen nothing to indicate that Iris (or Brock's replacement) won't be into contests.
 
I just really dislike her. Misty was the best, and May was a close second. And yet, the only reason I say that is because that Max and May were a packaged deal. On the other hand, there's the pain inducing package: Dawplup. Piplup has to be the stupidest Pokemon ever.

may was awesome in her own way.
dawn was kinda slow at times..., but in the end she was still pretty cool. i just think she needed a longer skirt.... lolz. i mean for a ten year old??? come on now. :p
and now iris...., i hope she brings back some flare to the female lead. after all she is a gym leader like misty was. and she carrys around a pokemon just like dawn. and we dont know yet.., but she might be in musicals like may was to contests. so it could be very interesting. i cant wait to see how her role is gonna play out with ash and dento. XD
 
I liked Misty as well, but out of the three current female leads, she was the one I like the least. She got better when she started keeping better control of her temper.

Stupidest Pokemon award goes to, at least IMO, Misty's Psyduck (which in reality Misty would have gotten in so much trouble for treating Psyduck the way she did, Animal Rights much?). The only way he got anything right was to get headaches. No other Pokemon in history has that problem. A close second might be Ash's Gible...I understand in the series moves aren't learned right off the bat, but hitting Piplup everytime, plus the almost hit on Kenney. I personally like Piplup, and don't see the reason for the hate. Though I admit it does act pretty spoiled at times.

It will be interesting to see what Iris is like though.
 
Oh, yeah. She just got more and more dumb throughout the entire series. Misty was fine, May was fine, I dunno what happened with Dawn. She was just a whining little child. I dunno what to expect with Iris.
 
I don't think Dawn is annoying. I do think she's a little air-headed though but that's what makes her funny. To me May was the best female in the show though. I wonder how Iris is gonna be. She has some crazy hair so hopefully she'll have a crazy personality to match! :D
 
i never really disliked dawn, it just felt to me like she was a ripoff of may. she has a bird type starter and competes in contests, and both of their names are specific times(dawn being morning and may being a month)she is kind of boring, but this problem might be all 4kids fault seeing as i havent watched the japanese version
and the most annoying characters are team rocket, hands down, no question
