I do play on the real games, at least I used to. Right now I'm just waiting to see how XY turns out for Gen VI and If Game Freak doesn't make any major improvements for competitive battling to get the online simulator crowd back into playing the actual games like they did in Gen IV with Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and HeartGold/SoulSilver then I might just give up on the Pokemon video games altogether. Super Training seems like a step in the right direction for XY but I'm concerned that the execution of it won't be as consistent as EV Training the old fashioned way which most people don't have time for. So far the only thing that's killed my hype for Gen VI are the new Mega Evolutions which should've been permanent evolutions like in Gen IV with Mewtwo, Blaziken, Lucario, and Ampharos being the exceptions.
I'm also hoping Game Freak will find some way to make breeding at the Day Care less tedious than it already is for Gen VI and furthermore find a way to tell how much base damage your Pokemon's Hidden Power does for better type coverage in competitive battling on the actual games via Wi-Fi. I remember the last Pokemon I had with a high base damage for Hidden Power Grass was my Moltres that I soft-reseted to obtain in my SoulSilver game before trading it away, the trade back then was worth it at the time but I have no regrets on it. I also had some great memories playing PBR with my friends a few years ago before Game Freak decided not to release another Stadium/Colosseum-esque game for Gen V, hopefully we'll get one for Gen VI. It seems like the even numbered gens always get the best Pokemon spinoffs.
