Hes mroe of a scare tactic also like you have a mewtwo on your bench your opponet knows you have a Mewtwo lv x so if its against a G deck you will most likely scare your opponet
No Gosh kiddo you must not knwo this but Okay card games are 75% mental, never ended thought and stuff go into pokemon when you play. Its like poker if you are good at it you can make your opponet mess up and get into thier head. Hell Ive done it thats why if you play Mewtwo right it can be a psychological win. So heres scenerio
You have mewtwo On bench most likely your opponet thinks your gonna bring out Mewtwo lv x, Already your opponets thought process changes taking his strategy off course to adjust to your threat. So now you have your opponet rushing to think of things and examining that mewtwo more and possibly if you play it well your opponet will lose interest of what else in in play. He or she will eventually start making misplays to counter mewtwo even though to them its a threat to you its just a scapegoat. All you need to do is make them change how they think and keep that going then slip under there thoughts and BAm. One easy way to have your opponet constantly worried which is easy to do with mewtwo cause of its body. When someone is worried or stressed they play worse and make bad moves. A little something to think about. Pokemon isnt all " claydol " and " uxie" and " 4-3-4 lines with rare candys " its also psychological. Like poker

Let's assume you're playing standard Toxitank WITHOUT Dialga G. I bring up Mewtwo LV.X. You can now do NOTHING to me, except maybe snipe for a pitiful 40 damage with Honchkrow, who I can one-shot at any moment I want. If Mewtwo is my only pokemon in play, then its good game as all you can do is poison me, and I can recover the damage gained from that.
THAT is why people play Mewtwo.

Clear, I think you play very good if you play mentally also = )
First of all, Mewtwo isn't teched in ANY deck at the moment. Reasons? Sure! First: you can Warp Point it away. Second: Dialga G Lv.X shuts it's body down. Third: it is a Lv.X which takes at least a lucky coin flip to get out. Fourth: there are better ways to use 2 slots.
