Oh yeah!! *Flexy flex*

I didn't want to reveal my Decklist until near the end of the Format, so I could show you all the recent updates I'd make as sets go on, but this is what I got!

Pokemon: 20

4 Machop TR 67
2 Phanpy HGSS 77
2 Phanpy CL 66
3 Donphan HGSS 107
4 Machamp TR 95
2 Machoke TR 40
2 Zekrom BW 47
1 Chansey DE 81

Trainer/Supporter/Stadium: 27

4 Professor Oak's New Theory HGSS 101
4 Professor Juniper BW 101
3 N NV 92
2 Rare Candy UL 82
3 Junk Arm TR 87
2 Switch HGSS 102
3 Dual Ball UL 72
2 Pokemon Catcher EP 95
3 Pokemon Communication HGSS 98
1 Random Receiver DE (99)
Energy: 14

13 Fighting Energy HGSS 120
2 Double Colorless Energy HGSS 103

Strategy is the good ole' fashioned Donchamp: Lead with Phanpy and fill your bench up. Then evolve Donphan and Machops and strike with Earthquake! Then Fighting Tag all the Energy to Machamp and SMAAAASSHH everyone into next Tuesday with Champ Buster. Crushing Punch is proving to be excellent with the Special Energies flying around lately!

If I fight Tornadus EX, I retreat/Switch Phanpy out for Zekrom, and pretty much trap him!

I wanted this deck to reflect my RL Deck, and I don't own a fourth Donphan, so I'm currently playing it with a Mew EX I recently got at a Pre Release.

EDIT: Thank you guys really very much! I completely overlooked the fact that DRX cards aren't modified legal yet, and by the time they are, the HGSS sets will be rotated out! Well then, I have adjusted my Deck accordingly: No more Blend Energies, just Basic Fighting Energy and DBLE Colorless, also added Chansey to exploit intensely fortunate luck if I ever get the chance ~.

So what do you guys think?

2 Phanpys and 3 Donphans?

Well, it's a pretty good deck, I like Donchamp a lot!

I used to love DonChamp, so its nice to see that I'm not the only one.

I always thought that if I played it again I would want Heavy ball though. It just seems to fit a bit better than Communication, in my personal opinion. And again I think CoL > HGSS When it comes to Phanpys, But again just my opinion and playstyle. I'm not liking the Mew if I'm honest, I think its a little too fragile, but you may like it. I like a 4-3 Donphan line anyway. Also I think it needs a Super Rod.

- 2 Pokemon Communication
- 2 Phanpy HGSS
- 1 Mew-EX

+ 2 Heavy Ball
+ 2 Phanpy CoL
+ 1 Super Rod

Just one question: How do you expect to use this for anything except a league match or so before rotation comes? DRX isn't legal by time of worlds, so you'll really never have the chance to mix HGSS sets with DRX. So this is kinda an unlimited deck in that aspect, in which case, there are much better options than you have lined up.

I've used this deck, varying Trainer cards here and there since my debut into the TCG metagame in October 2011. I've been very proud of my own deckbuilding abilities since I built this Donchamp deck, and I never felt the need to post in the Deck Garage for advice. Now as the Format is starting to close, I wanted to awesomely show off my Decklist, ^.==.^! It also serves as a fuzzy trinket I can see again and again, even after the format shift, I really REALLY love Donchamp!!

Also, DRX isn't legal in Worlds? I personally wouldn't know since I'm not there, but the Tournament DOES say HGSS-On...

If you look on Pokémon.com at the legal card list, you'll notice nothing from DEX is on there. It would be incredibly lame if they made everybody play in a format that nobody's ever been able to "officially" practice for at THE premier event of the year.

Didn't you see the Worlds-winning decks from last year? Nothing had Catcher; everything had Reversal even though everybody in the league area was playing with Catcher. Either all the Worlds players are scrubs or the set being pre-released at worlds isn't legal for Worlds. :p

With that being said, you should really have had some Smeargle and Twins in there. DonChamp is famous for being stupidly inconsistent and slow; heck, it had that reputation in HS-BW and that was before we had Catcher, Tornadus, Thundurus, Mewtwo-EX, Tornadus-EX, Eelektrik, Dark Patch, and Celebi/Smeargle + Skyarrow to speed the game up. Twins can kinda remedy that I guess, although there's still nothing stopping Catcher from picking apart your setup. I think the only successful DonChamp we've ever seen was Vileplume/Donphan/Machamp/Twins. You could give that a shot. I've seen a lot of variants with Landorus too, which lets Machamp get rolling faster and can also spread damage while being a Basic. :)
