• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

DonChamp (with Landorus)

Guess what: If Terrakion is OHKOed with 2 energy on it, you lose the same amount of cards as if you lost a Donphan with 1 energy. The difference is if you had been using Terrakion you would have taken a prize to keep up in the exchange but not if you'd used Donphan. Also, Donphan increases dead draws since you can get a Donphan without a Phanphy.
 
But, you can set up a donphan while attaching to something else. It doesn't matter how many cards your losing, it's all about set p
 
Donphan Prime deals 60 and spread to your own bench for 1 Fighting Energy. That quickly sets up Machamp Prime to dish out 150 quickly. That's why it's called DonChamp. Terrakion requires 2 Energy to do Retaliate. Therefore, Donphan Prime is faster. I'd rather keep Donphan Prime for the speed.
 
Since you have to evolve Donphan, they both have the same speed...also, I thought the reason you had more Landorus than Donphan was because the main spreader for Machamp was Landorus, not Donphan.

But Donphan resists 40 Damage from Electric Type Pokémon. It's body blocks 20 Damage and then it's Resistance is -20 from Electric Type Pokémon. You're comparing a Ground Type Based Pokémon with an amazing Pokébody to a Rock/Fighting Based Pokémon that doesn't even have an Ability. Landorus is more susceptible to being 1HKO'd by a Lightning Type like Magnezone Prime than Donphan is. They have to Lost Zone 4 Energies in order to OHKO a Donphan Prime. With Landorus, it takes only 3, even if it's got an Eviolite attached to it.

The main attackers are Donphan and Machamp. Why do you think it's called DonChamp?
