Hello... so I'm new to pokemon and I just bought a Donphan deck.and was wondering is it still good?

And this might sound like a new question but would a Donphan / Manectric ex deck work together?

YES!!!! DOnphan, in my opinion is the BDIF of this format. Although Yveltal is resistant, donphan is much more consistent than almost any other deck, and dishes out extreme damage as well. I haven't tried Manectrik donphan personally, but I think playing just a consistent straight donphan with walls is the best way to go! Hope I helped and have fun.

Thanks..
And I was jw if it would work because donphan loses to yveltal and to toad so I thought why not menectric ex.

Hello, welcome to PokéBeach! :D
While it seems only logical to add Manetric in a Donphan deck, I'd actually stick to pure Donphan. While true, Yveltal can be troublesome because of the resistance, Manetric takes too much space for the deck and imo ruins the beauty of Donphan, which is forcing your opp to get 6 KOs or more if you play Robo Subs.
You could use Zekrom for Yveltal, and if it really bothers you, you might as well add Magnetic Storm to the deck, also giving you more Stadiums to discard with Wreck and eliminating all Resistances, but as it's pretty situational (dead in most matchups) I'd stick to Zekrom.

Yeah..I'm going to stick with zekrom. I'm just wondering because I'm going to my first Pokemon regionals in Feb 14 and I can't decide build to play lol. I'm just use to playing ygo.

Well... The most straightforward thing I can think of is Virgen, but it's pretty expensive... So unless you're used to Donphan (even if only a bit) I'd play an Yveltal deck, as it's a pretty safe pick atm.

So I'm wondering now if there's a medicham/ donphan deck now with the release of primal clash?
