Don't you think that the format is a little stale?

I think the format will become really stale after the rotation. Stage 1/2 decks won't have much of an engine without Claydol and Uxie. And it looks as if there won't be a replacement, nothing decent. Dialga G Lv X says hi to Vileplume.
But right now, the format is awesome for all kinds of decks to be played. Some people don't have the creativity to win with something different though.

With the newer sets, I can see rain dance decks making a major comeback with this Blastoise (HSU) along with suicune/Entei legend. Both have quite similar attacks. Or even Lanturn Prime would mesh well with Rain Dance.

Hahaha, I think PUSA needs to drop Luxray GL LV.X, Garchomp C LV.X and PokeTurn altogether! The variety is great, but these cards don't allow that competition because it's simply too good put together. My goodness, we're getting a SECOND Spiritomb, (Vileplume), and Lux is probably gonna stay next format. I'm sure the theme of battling has altered to disruption and healing rather than tanking, like Gyarados and Torterra do.

I think that there could be more decks, but it is a lot better then like 4 months ago, it was mostly all blazeray were was. Also I only think I've played one LuxChomp in a tournament, although I am in Seniors...

I take it you forgot about Magnezone Prime and Staraptor FB Lv. X as Draw/Supporter Engines? Those are the best replacements for Claydol and Uxie I can think of.

Manaphy HSU replaces Uxie in Gatr Rain Dance decks, Ninetales HGSS replaces Claydol in Charphlosion, Clash of the Summit might hold what we need as replacements but until then let's wait and see...

Its a bigger deck in Masters. Luxchomp is a hard deck to for young players because you have to know when to bright look, when to dragon rush, when to snipe techs, and when to concentrate on their heavy hitter, when to expert belt and when to Egain, ect.

One Rare Candy or a BTS+Gloom is all it takes, it's not THAT wasteful. Vileplume is the reason the current Japanese meta is WAY different than ours right now.

It's easier to win against decks with Vileplume for SP.

Vileplume RL comes out and LuxChomp will become MUCH less popular then.

But then DialgaChomp will still be popular, seeing as Vileplume's body would be shut down.
