Mythbusted! Take THAT! They WON'T be part of Primal Clash, I totally called it!

Where can we see what cards are in this mini set?

Not any places yet. The cards will first be released in January 2015 in Japan (January 30th, to be specific), so they'll most likely be shown in the end of January.

Yaay, new Latios/Latias Trainer Kit! I still have my old one :p

Me too! except the plastic box has fallen apart. more latios to add to the collection :D

Well I'm glad that Double Crisis is not part of Primal Clash (even though it was a possibility until this annoucement) considering there's already a mess load of stuff in that set already. 8 holos huh? I hope two of these are M. Sharpedo EX and M. Camerupt EX (no support for this aside from Sharpedo EX and Camperupt EX in Primal Clash mind you, which they've never released an EX with a mega without it being in the same set before). It'll be better when we know what's in this set though so we can know how much is actually worth it. I guess we'll find it out in January.

So not only do we get a Primal Kyogre/Groudon set of boxes but we're also getting a seperate Kyogre/Groudon set. They're really pushing these two, aren't they? I kind of hope that at least we're not looking at two sets of alternates for the same cards in the Primal Clash theme decks. At least have one of these be some kind of new promo cards.

New Latios/Latias trainer kit. Wonder how that one works. Are we just having a dragon vs. dragon thing this time since I doubt they would make them psychic, especially in a kit like this. I mean the first time it was dragon vs. fairy and the second fairy vs. steel, and we all know how those are supposed to turn out. Though I doubt this VERY much it would be so cool if this was a way to release M. Latios EX and M. Latias EX.

Yes, the Aqua/Magma Crisis mini set will be in Japan at the end of January, with us probably knowing what they will have about mid January. We will not be getting our versions until the end of March, maybe a little earlier but regardless Japan will have had them for like two months already by that point.

As for the boxed sets and Trainer kit, Japan will probably not be seeing these but any exclusive cards they will most likely find a way to get. Odds are that the special card in the Kyogre/Groudon box sets are just going to be reprints of the theme deck cards anyway.

The latios and Latios, or the M camrupt and M sharpedo could be XY promo 39 and 40 because we havent gotton those yet promos yet.

The Latios/Latias cards from the trainer kit will likely not be XY promos themselves but more likely just labeled seperately like all trainer kit cards. This has been a trend with the trainer kits from the first Latios/Latias trainer kit to the most recent Bisharp/Wigglytuff trainer kit.

I think M. Sharpedo EX and M. Camerupt EX will be in the Double Crisis set, as either one of the eight holos or secret rares (not to be sure on this one until mid to end January). Not too say that XY promos are impossible though. That would be my second guess, but so far Japan hasn't revealed much promos involved with their versions of Primal Clash either.

Do you guys think of a possibility for mega camerupt ex be a fighting pokemon? I mean its weird since team magma theme is ground. The same can be aplied to mega sharpedo ex being water, since this is team aqua theme.

I think the only reason that this won't happen is because we've already seen in Primal Clash that Camerupt EX is a fire type and Sharpedo EX is a dark type. I have to say though I kind of like your idea on their typing better since we've never had a fighting Camerupt at all and Sharpedo hasn't been a water type since Plasma Storm.

Still the thing with Magma is that while their theme could be called ground, they want to expand that by sunlight and that is why they want Groudon. It always annoyed me a bit that Groudon was only a ground type Also, with Primal Groudon this Pokemon becomes a fire type. So I suppose either could be right.

Of course all of this is assuming that M. Sharpedo EX and M. Camerupt EX are going to be in this mini set. We have no proof one way or the other yet.

I wonder if we're going to see something similar to either the Plasma cards from B/W era or the Team Flare trainer cards from Phantom Forces in terms of mechanic for the Aqua and Magma mini-set/box set.
