So recently I was looking at the Dragons, Reshiram and Zekrom. It got me thinking how ridiculously overpowered they are, almost nothing in the format has a good match up against the both of them, somethings have a good match up against one, but not the other. So, I decided to draft up a deck to see if I could combine them consistently into one deck, and I came up with this. I guess the main point of this thread is to see if anyone has a better way to combine the Dragons, or any ideas for techs in this idea to make it more competitive.

Basic Strategy

The main Pokémon that I've been testing are, Reshiram and Zekrom (obviously), Mew Prime, Jumpluff and Ampharos HGSS. The strategy behind this is to See Off Ampharos, and start using Accelerator Bolt as soon as possible with Mew Prime, this allows you to attach two energy, of any type to the Dragon of your choice, whichever one works better for the match up. You will be able to use their large attacks early game. Mew can easily be used to power up new Dragons later in the game if need be. Jumpluff is for the Gothitelle and to an extent, Zoroark match up. Gothitelle, and any other trainer lock, Reuniclus combos stomp on the Dragons, Mew gives you the ability to See Off a Jumpluff, and hit for large amounts of damage with Mass Attack through Lost Link, which can easily be enough damage to one shot a Gothitelle due to weakness. Zoroark is another issue for the dragons usually, but Mew is a very nice counter, considering using See Off probably isn't going to do your opponent any favors.

Other Stuff.

After playing around with this a little bit on PlayTCG, it seems to be working ok, but I have figured out it has almost an auto loss to google's deck. I was wondering if anyone knows of a tech that could maybe help with this problem. The only thing that I can think of is Magnezone Prime. I am interested to see if anyone has a better idea of combine the Dragons, that doesn't have an auto loss to google's deck, because I feel that if we can think of a good way to combine the Dragons, it could have a lot of potential. Here is the list I have been working with if anyone want to test it.

4 Mew Prime
3 Zekrom
3 Reshiram
1 Shaymin UL
3 Ampharos
1 Cleffa
2 Jumpluff

Pokemon: 17

4 Professor Oak's New Theory
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Pokemon Catcher
4 Victory Medal
3 Dual Ball
2 Copycat
1 Flower Shop Lady
1 Switch
2 Professor Juniper
1 Energy Search
1 Bianca
2 Pluspower.

T/S/S:27

4 Rainbow Energy
5 Lightning Energy
5 Fire Energy

Energy: 14

Please keep in mind this is a very rough list, I just came up with the deck Friday, and haven't got much testing time in. It needs more Switch I think.

Some other techs that I have been considering adding are Dodrio UD and Energy Returner.

Can't wait to hear everyone's ideas.

i am slightly comfusled but i think i know what your getting at (kind of a mewbox and dragons right?) with your raimbo energy you could maby add 1 DCL to take out reuniclus with moons invite or posibly a 1-1 or 2-2 line of donphan that will help with outrage. As i said im kinda confused so i cant give you the best advice atm but once i fully understand i will come back.

P.S i like ur idea.

I have to admit I love the idea of having a built-in Gothitelle counter in the place as the energy accelerator. You probably only need 1 Pluff though. To beat Vileplume, try teching a Muk - just keep on dragging out their Vileplume until they don't have any DCE's. Then kill it and Catcher Reuniclus for the kill. Running a couple Lost Remover would basically kill the rest of their energy and allow you to sweep from there. However, I don't think it's popular enough to tech 3 cards to beat it.

The issue with it is that you're not going to even start accelerating until T2. And starting T1/2, each Mew you leave active is going down. I can see this deck getting more viable after Evolite. Furthermore, you're juggling 3 energy types and the chance to hit the T1 See Off is just too low in your list. You need a more consistent way of doing that. Relicanth could work but then you can't easily switch it for Mew and you need Amphy in-hand.

I actually think that Twinboar with a mini-ZPS engine would probably work better - just drop the Mew. But at that point you might as well run Twinboar.

I kind of like the idea, it's cool. A few problems I see with the list though. For starters, you play 4 Rainbow Energy and no Psychic Energy. It's going to be very difficult to get a T1 See Off if you only have 4 possible energy to use Mew's attack. And then there are little things like playing 1 Bianca which I think is a pretty mediocre card as is and to play one of it just seems bad. Victory Medal seems like an interesting choice but I feel there's better options. For example I don't see any Junk Arms in that list. There may be other things to change about it but I think those are the major things for now. Like I said, I think it's a cool idea and I'm pretty interested in seeing what others have to say about it. Keep us posted if you have any updates on testing. :]

Stage 1s put this deck through the mill. I ran something like this last format, but I approached it a lot differently, in a way where you can power it up quicker thanks to BTS. Also, you run Energy Search without Junk Arm. The only point of Energy Search is that you can abuse it with Junk Arm, otherwise it's just an empty card.

Ok, well, what will you do for ZPST? You rely on an attack for energy acceration, and unless you get T1 Mew and {P} and a turn 2 {L}, you won't be able to start to charge up.

I can see quick decks, TyRam, Stage 1s, and The Truth giving this deck a big problem. If a Zekrom/Reshiram is knocked out early game? You shouldn't have to use Mew to get more energy on another dragon. Reshiram has the problem of only being able to attack every other turn.

I'm just not seeing it.

Is victory medal legal in this format?

Yes.

It's clear that my list needs work. I have been testing this a decent amount lately, and I have found that people Catchering up Dragons before I can attach energy is an issue. I am going to revise my list ASAP, I like the idea of DCL and Muk, so I will probably add those and more switch, that is where I am going to start, I will work from there. Anyone have any suggestions for the ZPS match up? I see why it could be an issue.

You desperately need trainer lock to have a good matchup against ZPST, so maybe tech Vileplume? It worked in google's deck, it could work here.
