DP series finale.

@ElectroKing23 Yeah me too XD, I was kinda hoping that there would be a Isshu Pokemon in the series but I guess not

Ugh.....that was either a terrible episode or a good episode. There was no goodbye montage for Brock! Are you kidding?! This better mean he'll be back!

Yeah I know, I mean they didnt even show him get ready to go to Isshu, I bet in the First episode of Best Wishes, it shows Ash on a plane in his new gear either daydreaming or having flashbacks about Brock and Dawn

I haven't watched the episode yet. I don't want to know what happens in that episode so I am not reading the previous posts. I am also not going to be looking at the episode pictures for the last episode of the D/P series. I want to know myself of what happens in the last episode. Anyway I am thinking that Brock and Dawn will visit Ash in the Isshu region and stay for a couple of episodes.

i dont quite understand what happened without subcaptions or a translation. all i know is that most of it was about piplup..can somebody explain?

^Basically, Piplup's a raging drama queen. Something something something happened, then

HOLY YES, CYNTHIA VS FLINT!

And then sad bit at the end.

(By that I mean that Infy lost, of course. :p)

A boring finale. It felt like they didn't care.

It's like "HURRAY DP IS DONE! Come on lets get it over with omg I can't wait for BW!" :p

The last episode was OK. Wasn't too impressed at least they could've done better by ending the series in a couple of episodes, but it seemed like they were excited about Best Wishes, so they decided to end the last episode quickly and say their goodbyes quickly.

I was hoping that they could've at least talked a bit and also spend some time on the Ferry back to Kanto.

DP was builing up for a big finish...,
but instead they ran out of time and gave us this cruddy episode all about piplup.
Poor dawn..., lol.

That's just a little too reminscent of Sinnoh.

I saw the ep. pictures on Serebii, it just seems like Piplup drama. Which isn't new, so I guess I could've expected that. It seems like Pokemon just wanted to throw Ash into Isshu and give him those new eyes. Talk about Optometry.

Remember, we still have an episode dedicated to Pikachu failing at something, just like every new region. Whether it be fatigue from attacking Spearows in Kanto, getting ill in Hoenn, or losing it's electricity in Isshu, there will always be a time for Pikachu to fail.

I wonder what the transition from Ash's thin eyes to big eyes will be... Optometrist! I so hope that Ash goes to see an Optometrist. That would be awesome.

I guess thats why they say BW will be fast paced. They wasted too much time with fillers that it took nearly 57 episodes to get to one gym! O_O

Thats how bad the fillers got in this series. Not to mention the delay of a gym battle for several episodes, they wasted a LOT of time, so it's easy to see why they'd want to pick up the pace and not play around. Still, I don't expect any more than the same plot structure.

The last episode just was mostly about Piplup running away. I was hoping that they would've spent at least two episodes hanging out and saying their goodbyes. But it just turned out to be a very fast goodbye and then reached Kanto at the end of the episode. Seems like they really wanted to end the series quickly and get started with Best Wishes.

Oh well. Ash is moving to Ishhu now, so we can forget about all the old episodes now and focus on the start of Ash's new journey! yay!!
I hope he brings all his pokemon and gives them to Prof. Aragi though.

maybe that afro bufillo evolves from turos and 1 of ashes turose evolves and proffeser oak shows him then tell that its from isshu and ash brings pikach and the afro buffilo

@Ziggyfin: Ash could just leave all his Pokemon with Professor Oak like he always does. I don't know why he would carry all of his Pokemon with him to the Isshu region since that hasn't been done before in the series, he is just going to leave them with Professor Oak, since he was the first professor he knew and trusts him completely with his old Pokemon.

@Ice Arceus: I know but Isshu is so far away. I kind of ment he would leave them with the new proffesor. I think he might be leaving the other regions for good. They're restarting the games, they might restart the anime. I don't want it to happen, but I think that is what will happen.

The main reason they're "restarting" the games is to give new players that same feel we had playing Red/Blue/Yellow back in the old days. If they did restart the franchise completely it would kill it in terms of the video games, no backwards compatibility with Gen IV is the worst business decision ever and it be like what Game Freak did with the Gen II games Gold/Silver/Crystal and the Gen III games Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald all over again and we don't want that.

The PokeShifter in Black & White will allow you to migrate Pokemon from your Gen IV games straight onto the Gen V ones with 2 DS's. The hitch is that you won't see old Pokemon from previous Generations at Isshu until you've beaten through the entire game which by doing so unlocks the PokeShifter feature,
the director of Game Freak said that himself besides being on the last episode of Pokemon Sunday.

If they restarted the Anime series we wouldn't have Ash and Pikachu back in the Anime at Isshu let
alone Team Rocket since for some odd reason they are the staple characters of the Anime franchise. The reason why Brock left was because his character was getting dull apparently. Oak doesn't appear cause he's probably busy in Kanto as usual though Ash's Mom Delia makes an appearance though.
