i'e only ben playing for a little over a year but it seems to me that a card like this has the potential to revolutionize deck strategy. energy acceleration that isn't based on a pokepower? even with a coin flip, sign me up!

you all tell me, has there been an equivalent trainer in the game in the past?

It's not THAT good. Sure, it gets one energy, but who really cares? Just use Night Maintance and search for it again using Rosanne's or something, and equip it.

Actually, there's a big difference. It can turn the tides whether you're losing or winning. Imagine that in a blissey/arcanine deck. Or using it in electivire decks...

Its an OK card but a little luck-reliant. The big lucksacks of this world will play it.

I think this will be a nice card to play 4 of in a deck. People play ER2, so why not this... it's just the reverse. If you got an energy supplier in the deck, like a Firestarter, you could quite easily play 3 energy down a turn. I think I'll be using them with Tangrowth.
