Draco Meteor [Zekrom/Reshiram]

Alright, I know that an insane amount of people have been going nuts over Mewtwo and that Reshiram and Zekrom aren't anything new and, with the EX's and others soundly breaking the 130 barrier with apparently no care for any of the older cards (Primes not included) I figured I might try and run a Reshikrom split with just a single different line to bolster that.

So not so much techy as it is, get one of my 3 attackers out and crush, crush, crush.

What I've come up with is very basic and, all things considered, prolly not the best thing out there, I also happen to be 20 cards short of a legal deck, so there's also that.

I'll be able to tweak and fix it better tonight and tomorrow but, for now, I'd like your opinions on the build, what I could add or cut or anything else you might have to say on the thing.

Any and all constructive feedback is appreciated.

Draco Meteor Deck - 40 Cards, 20 Short of Legality

4x Zekrom
4x Reshiram
1-1-1 Hydreigon

4x Super Rod
1x Xtransceiver
4x Cilan
2x Professor Juniper
1x N
2x Eviolite
1x Skyarrow Bridge

2x {C}{C} Energy
4x{R} Energy
4x {L} Energy

Final Tally

11 Pokemon Cards: Nine Basic, One Stage 1, One Stage 2.

15 Trainer Cards: Five Items, Seven Supporters, Two Pokemon Tools, One Stadium

10 Energy Cards: Two Special Energy, Eight Basic Energy

RE: Draco Meteor

1-1-1 hydreigon will never last. It might be a bit hard to play though without an energy accelerator. 4 cilan is unnecessary. I'd play at most 1-2 but it is not too needed because it won't be that difficult to get out energy. Maybe celebi, electrode, or eelektrik could help with the energy problem. I also think that more DCEs are needed. 4 super rod is also definitely unnecessary. Cut about 2-3. I'd add a bunch of drawing supporters and maybe some more attackers.

RE: Draco Meteor

I wasn't to sure on this but does Hydreigon convert special Energy or just basic, I can't remember if Dark Aura differentiates.

I 'spose you're right about the Energy costs and maybe the Super Rods, I put in 4 to keep reshuffling back in the energy and mon's that I could lose, but I see your point there.

Cheers man.

RE: Draco Meteor

A DCE will count as {D}{D} yes.
I would cut Hyrdegion out tho, IMO.
Try this...

Take out: 8
1-1-1 Hydregion
2x Cilan
1x N
2x Super Rod

Add in: 28
3-3 Eelektrik
2x {C}{C}
3x {L} Energy
3x Pokemon Catcher
4x Prof. Oak's
3x Engineer's Adjustments
4x Catcher
3x Switch

Let me know it this helps!
:)

RE: Draco Meteor

A mewtwo EX and zekrom EX would seem great with eelektrik because they work so well. If eelektrik then I'd suggest a maxed out sage's.

RE: Draco Meteor

Please add the names if the main Pokémon to your deck title. Thanks.
