Now, from what I understand, the dragon road ability on hydreigon ex from ROS doesn't let himself retreat for 2 colorless less. "If there is any Stadium card in play, the Retreat Cost of each of your

less." Is the exact wording on the card. Can someone explain to me why it doesn't work on itself, since Hydreigon EX IS a dragon and it doesn't specifically restrict itself from retreating.
Hydreigon's Ability actually does include itself; whoever told you otherwise is mistaken. There's really nothing else to say on the matter. As long as Dragon Road isn't blocked by something like Silent Lab, you only have to pay one Energy to retreat it.
