Anyone still watch the anime? I remember certain scenes from DBZ and Dragon Ball Z GT from when I watched it when I was like 8-10. I started watching the English version of DBZ Kai on nicktoons network then I switched to the Japanese English subbed version. Now I'm watching the old English version. The episode I'm on right now is where cell just absorbed android 18.
In this thread you can discuss Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z: GT, and Dragon Ball Z Kai. I'm hoping I can complete the series before summer ends. I've been watching 4-5 episodes or more a day, so I believe it's possible.
What do you like better the old anime from the 1990-early 2000s (Dragon Ball Z) or the new remastered version. (Dragon Ball Z Kai)
 
I wish I could still watch the anime, sadly it's not on anymore in my area. I was a huge dbz fan back when I was about 10; I can still remeber pretty much everything. In fact I still have the budokai games for my old ps2. :D

Is there much difference between the original and the remastered version? I imagine there'd be less blood for modern audiences, or something awful like that, lol
 
I've been watching it online. DBZ kai is the remastered/shorter version of DBZ. Instead of 300 episodes, it only has 100.
 
I preferred the older version, because I actually didn't mind the fillers. Kai is ok, even though I still can't get over Gohan's new voice in the English dub, though I still watch it.​
 
I love this show,all versions really.
I don't like Gohan's new voice as much but Its okay.
My favorite characters are Gohan [Kid,Teen,Adult] Vegeta and Trunks.
My favorite saga is The Frieza saga.

Frieza saga is the only season I ever had to re-watch after watching DBZ like 3 times, just because I didn't like that season when I was little.

After finally re-watching it, turns out I liked it. xD Nothing beats the Buu season IMO though.​

Anyways, my Fav. saga was: Trunks Saga (it was a filler~in between Garlic Jr & Android Saga's)
 
So far I can only watch the kai version.Although I have a hatred against CN.
 
Wait, what is the difference between the old version and Kai? Cuz I've seen it on and thought they were just replaying the old episodes with a fresh name. I don't remember the old one enough to see what is different. But they all sound so whiney when they struggle or get hurt xD especially Gohan

Kai is just a revamped resolution version of the old version.However Kai only has 100 out of the 300.Kinda getting rid of fillers I suppose.
