I'm shocked nobody's made a thread for this. I bought DQ9 four days ago, and I have more than 24 hours. No joke, that's how good it is. So, offer your opinion on it, or ask questions, yadda yadda. I guess avoid plot spoilers...? Well, the story kinda sucks so that's not the important part. Yeah, talk out DragonQuest.

I got it two days early. I was thrilled.

My party consits of A Priest, A Thief, A Paladin And....

A SUPER SAYIAN

I got it on the first day, and I have put in 110 hours in it. Also, I made a character based off of Katniss in the hunger games and a mage based off of Nico in percy jackson and the olympians, my two favorite books.

I'm about 36 hours in right now. I'm absolutely loving the multiplayer. As of right now I'm releveling my party as I've just switched from Warrior - Martial Artist - Priest - Mage to Paladin - Gladiator - Sage - Armamentalist.

Anyone try making a Nappa or Vagetia yet? On multiplayer, we reinacted the OVER 9000!!!! Scene. We then got attacked by slime, who ran away the first turn.

Not metal slime, just slime. Meh.

I just beat the wight knight. How do you add more people to your party?
Go to the inn at Stornway and talk to Patty, the girl to the left of Erinn.

Im stuck on the Tyrantula. Why don't they have online multiplayer? It's not like Japan where almost everyone and their baby mama's play it. (XD)

I really really want to buy the game, it looks very promising and considering the praise and great feedback it's gotten in japan. It also has gotten quite a bit of hype in here in the states as well. But like most stuff for me right now, I'll have to wait until I get some more money.

I already finished the first part of the game, now I don't know what I am supposed to do.

Does anyone know?

Go back to that gray train that's near stornway, the starflight express.

One of the best games on the DS. The UK advert kinda sucks:

Boy: You're gonna fight monsters with bunny ears?
Girl: Yeah! Ha.
Boy: Look, its a fighting cucumber!
Girl: Ha ha.

I got this the other day, it's fun so far. :) It's a cool feature being able to see what you're characters are wearing.

I don't mind that the game doesn't hand playable characters to you, in fact I think I have a fondness for my created characters that I just wouldn't get with characters handed to me.

Right now I'm at the tarantula boss battle

(Also, I heard many people were angry about the games because of Stella. I actually like Stella...she's quirky but not annoying.)
