Ruling DRE and Infernape (DP)

Just wondering if DRE is the only energy card attached to Infernape, after using Flare Blitz attack, how does the discarding part work?
(Flare Blitz condition : Discard all fire energy attached to Infernape.)

You discard the DRE :/ (And any other energy card that is providing fire energy at that time.)

DRE isnt basic, but still counts as fire energy, and every other type of basic energy

The attack doesn't state for you to discard 2 basic fire energies. It only states that you need to discard 2 fire energies. That could mean anything, even a special energy. As long as it provides 2 fire energies.

So, when you Flare Blitz with a DRE attached, you will inflict 80 Damage and you need to discard the DRE.

Yes. You discard EVERYTHING that is providing fire energy at that time. Even if it had (lets say) 1 Scramble (providing three of any type of energy), 1 DRE and 2 basic fire. They ALL get discarded.
