Flygon Jedi Master said:This thread makes me sad in a way that there are adults (Ages 18+) Who still use this site and are addicted to the internet. All of you need to get a girlfriend, and get a life. Now you're all talking about which job you wish you had, because you've got nothing better to do but stare at your computer. Don't waste your life here, go off and finish college, unless that's where you are now, sitting in your dorms. In that case, get off the computer and start studying so you can actually get the job you want.
Sorry for my outburst of Anti-Pokébeachness...I don't have a girlfriend yet either, but I'm only in 7th grade.
I would like to be a doctor/lawyer.
If you have 1000+ Post, and are active at least once a day, your addicted. Telling people to get a job is a good thing, as in the end, you need money more than Pokémon. People don't normally drop out of college due to illness. You might throw up for a day or two, but that's it. And going back to college? As if you failed the first time? The best time in your life to play Pokémon is when you are young or old, so you actually have the time and money to do this game. If you're in college, you need to accept the real world isn't changed by pulling that TSD, or finding a shiny Lotad. I'm not talking to you, as you go to school and have your parents to handle finances, but the way I see it, when I'm 18-23, I'm going to stop playing, and be ready to experience the greatest card game of all time when I retire. I'm not trying to insult people, I'm just giving out free counseling, you can listen, or you can tell me to shut up. Thank you for choosing option 2. We hope you enjoy your flight.Galefail said:Flygon Jedi Master said:This thread makes me sad in a way that there are adults (Ages 18+) Who still use this site and are addicted to the internet. You know, some adults have to keep a less glamorous job just to pay the bills. Maybe there were some complications when they were in collage? Hm? Like their parents couldn't afford to send them to it? And they couldn't get a degree? And they had to settle for something that just keeps them alive? It's fine to wish for a job you don't have. It gives you something to work towards.
Also, adults might be working to save up enough money to go BACK to collage. Maybe they had to drop out due to illness or something.
In addition, if one goes on the internet for maybe 30 minutes to 2 or so hours a day, they're suddenly addicted? As long as you still have a life (go to school, meet with friends and family), then you're not addicted. Addiction is sitting here insulting other people and telling them to go get a job :/

I might actually want to be a scientist, experiment stuff is cool, as well as proving the religion I am forced to worship wrong ever time I say "evolution". No ever seems to be a scientist though, it's like they only exist in those sci-fi movies. A teacher might be fun, as the Dawn person suggested, but a doctor would make more money.
