Dream job

...Don't judge me! >:O

Which colour? Not pink, I hope!

Teaching is something I have thought about too. I have a gift with kids apparently, probably because I am sort of child-like in nature myself. ;0

There are many other things I would like to do... but most are not feasable. Money is an important part of the equation, after all.

Oh. I assumed it meant Big Anus Unit.

I would also like to be a chef ^_^ (but being an author would be preferable).

I would like to be an author, or an.... Power Ranger with bacon, scampy thing. I would like to be red please. I'm a kid myself so I would be a monster! (I'm only 12 :O)

Possibly a teacher, but i would like to compete in competitions like the now dead Robot Wars.

I'd like to be a coach in sports. I happen to have very good sports knowledge. I have my heart set on the sport I want, if I do become a coach, football. I'd love to, even for a year, coach my favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

I want to flip burgers at mcdonalds. LOL. It would be fun to be an aerospace engineer.

:'(

This thread makes me sad in a way that there are adults (Ages 18+) Who still use this site and are addicted to the internet. All of you need to get a girlfriend, and get a life. Now you're all talking about which job you wish you had, because you've got nothing better to do but stare at your computer. Don't waste your life here, go off and finish college, unless that's where you are now, sitting in your dorms. In that case, get off the computer and start studying so you can actually get the job you want.

Sorry for my outburst of Anti-Pokébeachness...I don't have a girlfriend yet either, but I'm only in 7th grade.

I would like to be a doctor/lawyer.

You know, some adults have to keep a less glamorous job just to pay the bills. Maybe there were some complications when they were in college? Hm? Like their parents couldn't afford to send them to it? And they couldn't get a degree? And they had to settle for something that just keeps them alive? It's fine to wish for a job you don't have. It gives you something to work towards.

Also, adults might be working to save up enough money to go BACK to college. Maybe they had to drop out due to illness or something.

In addition, if one goes on the internet for maybe 30 minutes to 2 or so hours a day, they're suddenly addicted? As long as you still have a life (go to school, meet with friends and family), then you're not addicted. Addiction is sitting here insulting other people and telling them to go get a job :/

*sigh*

If you have 1000+ Post, and are active at least once a day, your addicted. Telling people to get a job is a good thing, as in the end, you need money more than Pokémon. People don't normally drop out of college due to illness. You might throw up for a day or two, but that's it. And going back to college? As if you failed the first time? The best time in your life to play Pokémon is when you are young or old, so you actually have the time and money to do this game. If you're in college, you need to accept the real world isn't changed by pulling that TSD, or finding a shiny Lotad. I'm not talking to you, as you go to school and have your parents to handle finances, but the way I see it, when I'm 18-23, I'm going to stop playing, and be ready to experience the greatest card game of all time when I retire. I'm not trying to insult people, I'm just giving out free counseling, you can listen, or you can tell me to shut up. Thank you for choosing option 2. We hope you enjoy your flight.

I might actually want to be a scientist, experiment stuff is cool, as well as proving the religion I am forced to worship wrong ever time I say "evolution". No ever seems to be a scientist though, it's like they only exist in those sci-fi movies. A teacher might be fun, as the Dawn person suggested, but a doctor would make more money.

I'm not telling you to "shut up" :D. I'm telling you that people should be able to live their lives how they want. And to be honest... a Pokemon internet forum isn't the best place to give out advice. I mean, seriously. Who's going to follow it? ;P

I see very few people want jobs in the government. lol. It's all game programming, which isn't surprising. That's an awesome job and you'd be doing something you love.

An illness could be like a car crash or something severe. That would make you drop for one or more semester. If it accumulated bills that you need help with and can not finacally afford then you would have to get a job just to pay for the bill not including collage(which is expensive). Just saying go get the job is easy, its the road getting there that is the hard part. And some peoples parents don't have the money to send them to collage, my mom got told that her school was closing its doors in June, so I don't know if I will be going to collage next year or the year after that.

I wish it was that easy to say I got a job and I'm going to school, but it is very hard. I work part time and it is very hard to keep up.

I have a girlfriend, and we get out with friends but we also like to play/ watch Pokemon because it is relaxing. You probably don't know it yet but the real world sucks, driving is cool, but then come gas/ insurance bills and car payments, not to mention the food that you need to eat. People need a place to relax and if its on the Internet then let them.

Why are you bashing other people when you don't even know the circumstance to why they are here. Don't bash tell you know the facts.

As for the job, its not all about the money, its about what makes you feel good at the end of the day. Teaching is a rewarding job and so are doctors but its what make you feel happy, not the money. Well at least in my opinion.

FJM, don't go down this road. All your posts are failing, and you really need to consider what you say before you say it...

1stly, how is being active every day addicted? I mean, my parents allow me an horus use of the comp a day, so I won't get addicted - but I would say that people who spend 5hours+ a day are addicts. And anyways, plenty of people here who are old enough have jobs- and I have NEVER heard any one of them coplaining. Many are at uni, and almost everyone is doing just fine in life. POkebeach is a way to enjoyable use free time, not become peoples lives, like you claim it is. I have 100 posts+, but I've been here fore nearly 3 years to get it.

I wanna be a masta pokemanz trainer, and have my name all over the interwebz.

Nah, i might be a lawyer, or maybe a grocery store clerk.... (the first option was told to me by a real Giecko customer, not a payed celebrity)

Of any job, I'd like to be on the localization team at Nintendo of America. Of course, being one of the LEGO set designers in Denmark would be pretty sweet, too...
