In fairness this is kinda their home. I'd be rather perturbed if a large party like ours attacked my home!

Oh I'm sorry I just have a maxed out attack stat and access to blade cross which increases the damage of my attack and all they have is a maxed out special attack stat with no damage boosting ability haha silly me taking all variables into account instead of just looking at raw stats XD
On the other hand, Cutiefly's Bug Buzz and Salandit's Venoshock have higher base damage too! So we are all pretty similar in terms of damage even if a bit weaker. It seems a bit of a stretch to give you special treatment by protecting you given our damage output is pretty similar.
You do realize that since we don't know their defences, there's no way to tell who's dealing what, right?

Ah well, I guess I'll just guard TE, @Keeper of Night .

Fight fight fight fight! Yay!

I haven't felt this happy since I found all those cave cupcakes growing on the sides of the cave! They made me feel very funny but once I ate enough of them I got used to the feeling. Oh god I think my kidneys may be giving out.

Totodiles... HAVE A CAVE CUPCAKE!

HAVE ALL THE CAVE CUPCAKES! *mwahaha*

"Ahhhhh, water types. From memory, the ones without legs taste better. LETS ROAST THEM!!"

@Keeper of Night Spire will quick attack one of them, then retreat backwards if they get close to land, if not, she will flamethrower the most damaged but not KO'd Totodile in such a way as to avoid harming an ally or melting the ice near an ally

@Keeper of Night
I get all the power I can gather and propel myself backwards with my blizzard, sliding on the ice, widening the platform so others can join the battle (and hopefully hitting the totodiles). (also, getting to solid ground; the ice should definitely break easily with 8 totodiles on it, that's 80 combined kilos on a surface that wasn't so wide, nor thick).
somethingsomething Vulpix freezes a larger area with Blizzard, creating a wide platform that connects to the shore!

@Keeper of Night I'll bounce up high and use Power Gem to try and blast away the ice where the Totodile is standing, all the while waving my fat little arms in the air and uttering a bloodcurdling (or, at the very least, milk-curdling) battle squeak.
I realize overly-complex instructions from prof.light is probably just whiplash from the last DnD game, but what's your excuse?

@Keeper of Night Mitsh attempts to leech the life force of the Totodile.
@Keeper of Night I'll use Disarming Voice on as many of the Totodiles as possible.
@Keeper of Night
I use dragon claw (blade cross) on one of the totodiles screaming with rage and excitement as I charge at them!
@Keeper of Night I use Air Slash to knock the Totodiles into each other
Looks like most of you all are going with ranged attacks, so I'll keep my distance and attack one of the Totodile using Flamethrower! @Keeper of Night
@Keeper of Night I use Shadow Ball on the closest totodile.
dazzling gleam toward the cluster of totodile @Keeper of Night . they're probably dragon right? they look like little dragons
... @Keeper of Night Imma go to the middle of the horde and use Discharge.
@Keeper of Night, I want to use a Mud Slap attack next to the Totodile closest to me, to protect it from the attacks launched towards it. I then want to ask it about its day, and whether there is any potential we could strike up a symbiotic friendship instead.
Ah well, I guess I'll just guard TE, @Keeper of Night .
@Keeper of Night I use Fake Out on the Totodile clossesst to me!
@Keeper of Night Spire will quick attack one of them, then retreat backwards if they get close to land, if not, she will flamethrower the most damaged but not KO'd Totodile in such a way as to avoid harming an ally or melting the ice near an ally

I'm really bad at battle flavor, and this update took me way too long anyway. So here's what went down because it kinda just ended in a, uh, flash:

Salandit's Fake Out hits Totodile 1 for 0 damage, flinching it.
Torchic uses Quick Attack on Totodile 1 for 1 damage.
The rest of the Totodile attack with Water Gun. Salandit, Phanpy, Duskull, Chimchar, Spoink, Litwick, Swablu, and Pichu are hit!
Phanpy uses Mudslap on Totodile 2 for 2 damage, covering it in mud.
Bagon uses Dragon Claw on Totodile 3 for 4 damage.
Noibat uses Air Slash on Totodile 4 for 8 damage, and knocks it into Totodile 2, who takes 1 damage.
Cutiefly uses Dazzling Gleam on the group of Totodile, inflicting 4 damage on Totodile 3, Totodile 6, and Totodile 7.
Litwick realizes that he doesn't know the move Leech Life.
Swablu uses Disarming Voice on the group of Totodile, inflicting 2 damage on Totodile 1, Totodile 4, Totodile 7, and Totodile 8.
Eevee moves to guard Bagon.
Blakers uses Flamethrower on Bagon 7, inflicting 2 damage.
Duskull uses Shadow Ball on Totodile 8 for 8 damage
(heh).
Spoink jumps and uses Power Gem at the ice beneath the Totodile's feet, knocking them into the water. The mud on Totodile 2 washes off.

Klink
(this is Jabber's fault not mine ok be mad at him not me) moves to the surface of the water and releases a Discharge. The Totodile under the water each take 20 damage, and run off.
Everyone in the cave takes damage.
Eevee takes the damage for Bagon.

Fainted and will need reviving: Swablu (3 from Water Gun, 9 from Discharge - HP: -4/8), Chimchar (7 from Water Gun, 4 from Discharge - HP 0/11), Litwick (7 from Water Gun, 4 from Discharge - HP: -1/10), Salandit (7 from Water Gun, 4 from Discharge -3/8) @NinjaPenguin @Blakers @bbninjas @quakingpunch73
In other news I found it funny that every fire type had the same Special Defense save Torchic.
PB keeps splitting this into two Spoilers for some reason.

With the Totodile run off, the party members win!
...But then in the distance, a louder splashing is heard. In the light, something big can be seen moving through the water. The party move back to the shore just in time for a large Pokemon to climb on top of the icy platform.

The Feraligatr roars loudly. Perhaps the Totodile woke it when they ran off? Or maybe Klink's flashing woke it? Either way, now with half their party down or injured, it seems like the real fight has started.

Oh that's nothing, one guy on a different forum has a habit of sending me 300-word monologs describing his actions for the round, which are hilarious even if one time I misunderstood him and thought he wanted to viciously attack someone when he was actually trying to give him a gift.

Oh yay! The scary monster ran away! But oh no! It was replaced by an even scarier one. That's just peachy keen.

*bends down next to eevee*
Your sacrifice will not be forgotten...friend
Well come on it ain't gonna kill itself vulpix cherubi and any other clerics get in here and heal the injured I'll hopefully be able to dodge it's attacks everyone else stay behind me and our other tanks and melee attackers
Alright your times up * points at feraligatr* now die!
@Keeper of Night
I use dragon claw (blade cross) on feraligatr
*roars loudly*

What did Spire take damage from? @Keeper of Night
Also Speedboost?
Nothing, fixed. Though maybe I just really wanted to drown you.
Your order priority has increased and if it makes a difference it will change your order.

Edit: You did get hit by discharge, and took 2 damage. I had your HP set to 2 when it should have been 8, but I had the math right at least.
