ooc: i mentioned before, but just to remind, this is my last post from my home computer. i'll be in scotland for the next fortnight. i'll check in from my phone occasionally, but i'm not even sure my phone has the password to this place o_O still very interested in playing along though, just put me down for whatever majority decision on directions, and ranged attacking any in every fight we stumble into (if that's cool to do).

apologies, i figured this was a two-week game when i signed up, not the two months it's been :p i'll be back though. if the game is still going, i'll dive right back in when i return.

You'd be surprised how long these dumb forum games take.
(I can call them that, I host 'em.)

The group decide that, upon hearing the noise, staying put may not be the best idea. They quickly come around the side of the outcropping, where the hill's side comes to an easily manageable slope.

At the top they find it to be a bit less empty than the one they were on previously. Some kind of figures, maybe they were dolls at one point, littered the ground.
One of them gave off a bright red glow, easily distinguishable against the blank white snow around it.

The next hill ahead was much steeper, and wouldn't be nearly as easy to climb quickly. However, they didn't hear the sound from below again. Perhaps it was never there in the first place.

I'll start taggin' next time. Wouldn't want the mountain to start eatin' people now, would we?

Maybe the birdss, beess and batss can pull us up the slope, since they can fly?

[OOC] To everyone, I'll be V/LA at camp from today to Friday, so don't expect too much activity from then.

Th-the extreme cold is often m-more dangerous than the m-m-monsters.

@Keeper of Night I'll bounce up to the bright red glowing figure and investigate it some more. M-maybe it's something to k-keep me warm!

@Vom @Little Cherrim

Before moving onward, a few members of the group decide to inspect the glowing figure.
pon examination, it seems to be made of straw, like every other on the ground. Why this one was glowing was impossible to tell. There were no details on it. Straw body, straw head, straw limbs...

Spoink held it up high to examine it further. Then suddenly from below their feet, where the empty outcropping they were just in would be located, they could hear a loud clatter. Almost as though something had fallen to the ground.

Also below them, but still further away, they heard the same roar from before. It was much more distant than the clattering sound, but definitely clearer than the first time they had heard it. It certainly didn't sound happy.

I TOLD YOU THAT DOLL WAS CURSED
But who listens to the dragon that hates fairies and knows every horrifying thing they can do anyways that would be RIDICULOUS haha XD

So, I guess we either forget about the doll and move forward, or we continue to check out the doll, and probably get in a fight. It's your call.
