Hey guys. Okay, so with the rotation coming I really didn't wanna have to lose my favorite ant so after snooping around through lots of different people's ideas on how to keep Durant alive I came to the conclusion that using Mew ex would probably be the best bet. Here's my current list:

POKEMON:
Durant x4
Mew EX x3
Cobalion NV x1
TOTAL = 8

T/S/S:
Level Ball x4
Cheren x4
Enhanced Hammer x2
Revive x4
Eviolite x3
Crushing Hammer x4
Ultra Ball x2
Pokemon Catcher x3
Bianca x3
Rescue Scarf x4
Max Potion x4
Skyarrow Bridge x2
Professor Juniper x1
TOTAL: 40

ENERGY:
12 Metal

Strategy is the basic Durant strategy except with Mew being the one who uses Devour. Any advice for this deck would be appreciated as I am considering using it for Battle Roads. (along with many other possible decks) The main problem I seem to be having is a Durant or 2 being prized. With Rotom UD getting rotated I can't think of any way to get the Durant out of prizes quickly. That's why Cobalion is in here. Just so I can deal some damage if needed. But still.... it doesn't seem to be enough. -sigh-

Thanks for looking. Any advice is appreciated. :D

I just played you on PlayTCG, lol. IMO, Mew is not the way to go with this deck. If I hadn't discarded all of my Blends, I would have been able to OHKO it with Garchomp which is bad considering it gives up two prizes. I really like the Aggron version of the deck more.

Being able to discard 10 on one turn is really good (2 Aggrons + 4 Durant).

lol. Yeah. PlayTCG FTW! xD

And hmmm... yeah. I kind of overlooked Aggron when making this just due to the fact that it's a stage 2. But having to give up 2 prizes with Mew has been a big issue my past few games so I'm gonna go ahead and give Aggron a shot and see how it goes. Thanks! :)

I'd play either Durant/Sableye or Aggron/Sableye.

Sableye allows a near autowin to Terrakion, Klingklang, Entei, and Empoleon Terrakion. (Catcher Terrakion, Hammer away)
Durant/Aggron is too clunky and inconsistent IMO and Mew EX giving 2 prizes is a major drawback. Durant needs Mewtwo as well, so it can KO attackers like AggroMewtwos, AggroTerrakions, and anything else with a bunch of energies on it.

hmmm... Good point on the durants being prized. However I think your hurting yourself a bit. like for instance: Why two sky arrow bridges? kind of a waste of a spot, yeah it could get discarded but durant only has one retreat so if it is discarded its not a big deal. run only 1 sky arrow bridge, pokemon that discard stadiums wont see much play and odds are your opponent will only be running one stadium, so if you lay yours down after they did your good to go. running mew ex is risky... VERY RISKY. I do like your thinking outside the box though but the reality is spligh, and mewtwo ex will both be highly used, both will crush mew for a quick 2 prizes. and your losing hp in the process: 2 durants = 2 prizes. 70hp + 70hp = 140hp. 1 mew ex = 2 prizes. 1 mew ex = 120hp. you lose 20 hp in the process. if you run mew ex tech in some super scoop ups at least. My advise: try durants, and garbodor (dragons exalted) eelectrik decks, and darkrai decks, and garchomp/altaria decks wont be able to use there much needed abilities. also throw in an emolga (dragons exalted) zero retreat and for one colorless energy you can search your deck for 2 durants. that just my advise. and not many are doing this but maybe use dark explorers heatmor, its the perfect counter in case you are stuck playing against another durant deck that set up quicker then you or won the opening coin flip.

and yes Aggron is klunky, im actually testing now to try and make it work somehow. So far though it hasnt been working great. even still lairon may be a hidden gem if paired with victini.

I would drop the Max Potion, most attacks deal more than 90 damage now, so it's mostly a card without any use!
If you plan on using Aggron, play some swtiches against random Catchers and would maybe even cut 1-2 energies for 1-2 Professor Juniper.
Played Durant last season and was so desprate for some draw options. xC
