Pokemon (5):
4 Durant
1 Rotom

Energy (11):
4 Special Metal
3 Metal
4 Recue

Trainers (44):
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Twins
4 PONT
4 Professor Juniper
3 Pokegear 3.0
4 Eviolite
4 Crushing Hammer
2 Lost Remover
3 Catcher
4 Revive
4 Junk Arm
1 Alph Lithograph
1 Energy Search
2 Dual Ball

Simple Durant strategy, just try to deck them out.

I'd personally ditch a draw supporter and a crushing hammer for 2 more dual ball. Extra dual balls increase your odds of that oh so important 4 durants T1

I feel that this deck needs 3 or 4 rainbow energies to avoid the loss to Zekrom (Rotom's Attack). I also think that one alph lithograph isn't enough.
-2 Basic Metal
-2 Juniper
+3 Rainbow Energy
+1 Alph 4

I disagree with both above posts. Dual Ball isn't even necessary to begin with in Durant, and never should you have to attack with Rotom or be inflicting damage at all in this deck. It's actually quite easy to beat Zekrom if you get set up early, and if you abuse Crushing Hammer and Lost Remover and get lucky flips with Hammer.

I prefer maxing out Rescue Energy, so I would lose 2 basic Metals and make them Rescues. You definitely want to make those 4 PONTs 4 Ns. N is honestly just such an amazing card in Durant that you downrigh need a playset, and in a deck that never takes prizes, it's superior to PONT in every way. I also recommend you finding something to take out and adding in a 3rd Lost Remover (it helps against the ZPST matchup, or anything else that uses special energy really, such as CKE.)

Overall:
-2 Basic Metal Energy
-4 Professor Oak's New Theory
-1 Energy Search/Eviolite (just throwing out suggestions, this is up to you entirely)

+2 Rescue Energy
+4 N
+1 Lost Remover

^i agree.
But why is energy search in here??
Just replac it for a metal or rescue energy, it better just in case you're trainer locked

How does this deck have a good matchup against Zekrom even if you set up? Assuming both players get set up turn one you have at least 8 turns to discard their deck.If they take a prize a turn with bolt strike you lose.

I thought of N, but all it would do is put a huge hand back into your opponents deck. I dont think it would be very good. Energy Search is just fora Junk Arm-able energy if needed. Hypno has only a 25% chance to ever work, and it can easily be Switched out of or Catchered up and killed.

Well I kind of already outlined in my post why this deck has a good Zekrom matchup. Believe me, you will set up before them the majority of the time, especially in these days where most Zekrom lists focus more on Eelektrik than Pachirisu and Shaymin. Once you start milling, it's easy to deny them of energy, as well as supporters. Even once they attach energy, you can discard it with a lucky Crushing Hammer or a Lost Remover (in DCE's case.) From my experience against my many games against ZPSTE, the deck will rarely manage to outspeed Durant, and it will rarely set up well once you get going.

I also forgot to mention, Victory Medal is a godsend in this deck, and I highly recommend running a playset if you have the means.

A good player will realize that placing more than 1 attacker down at any time is a waste with crushing hammer lost remover and catcher any benched pokemon will just be used for catcher bait to stall while durant mills the deck away..

Sure most players would only play one attacker, but so many decks nowadays keep supporting pokemon on the bench, such as Eelektrik, Typhlosion, Magnezone, the list goes on...

As for N (sorry I forgot to mention it in my last post), sometimes the disruption is worth the extra cards you're putting back. It's good early game if they still have more prizes than cards in their hand, and you could use Team Rocket's Trickery if you wanted, which will lower their hand size for you to shuffle away next turn.

I'm envisioning Cobalion being more of a threat to this deck.

How can you reliably switch/retreat out of not being able to attack, especially as you could also be trainer locked too?

Just curious, it's solid otherwise :).
