    2 - Energy Search
    1 - Potion
Energy:

  • 14 - Fire Energy
    4 - Grass Energy

Strategy:

The main and only attacker are Houndoom with Burn Up, while Togetic and Venusaur keep the energies up to attack each turn. Since the Burn Up attack cost [R][R][C], only two Fire Energy are enough, with a Grass on the last slot. If the attack's coin flip Tails, you lose only two energies, and next turn you can recover it with Venusaur's Harvest Bounty Poké-Power. It's a simple and nice combo when it works. If you got 3 Fire Energy on Houndoom, Togetic can change one into Grass Energy to make you lose less energies when the Tails happens.

But I need some help to improve it. I'm running only one Venusaur at moment, need to buy one more. I want to try Metal Energy on Houndoom, but don't know if worth the slot. I plan to use 3-3-2 Venusaur (no need more than one on the bench, Power don't stack), and maybe more Grass Energy to turn him into an optional attacker, and I wonder if the E-Card format of the TCGOne have anything to accelerate the setup if this deck.

Don't bother with Metal Energies.

I'd suggest:
+1 Venusaur (when you get it)
+1 Bill's Maintenance
+1 Prof Oak's Research

-1 Potion
-1 Pokémon Nurse
-1 Master Ball (?)

I don't know a lot about Expedition-only, as IRL TCG tournaments only had Neo-on and Exp-on (with EX sets) that used the Expedition sets.
Feraligatr / Gengar should be the top-tier imo from the sets available.
