"Early Pokemon" Quiz [5/17]

Wow. I never realized that because I never got the news at the time until everything was revealed and I got the Gold and Silver Poster that came in my Nintendo Power issue when the games first came out. XD.:)
 
I read the other quiz as "Which of the following Pokemon WAS revealed before its generation was released?"

So I picked Elekid :p

Well as usual i was right :3 (srry i'm a nerd)

i knew that kricketot, starly and electivire were released before D/P, bellossom and elekid i've seen in a magazine before G/S was released, uhm kecleon was already in a G/S episode and i thought i had seen blaziken, wailmer and volbeat too before R/B release

so had to choose between skarmory, suicune and duskull, but duskull and suicune are of those typical ''released before game'' pokemon (anyway it felt like that), so i picked skarmory :D

btw, the new poll, think before you answer, it's logical and answers can be found in internet, good luck
 
Well even though Skarmory was the answer, it was seen in the "Camp Pikachu" short with Duskull and Volbeat. I just felt like pointing that out

Skarmory is a second generation Pokemon. The others are third.
 
Of course I guessed wrong. I have absolutely no memory when it comes to revealed Pokemon, especially pre-D/P.

This new poll is slightly confusing. It's a toss up between two for me. I don't remember some things either.

What about Suicune? He was also on the list! He wasn't revealed before GS came out! He's gen 2!
 
You don't seem to understand the question. It asks which of the Pokemon were revealed before their respective generations were. As in, which of the Pokemon were Pokemon existing before the generation came out. Duskull and Volbeat were 3rd generation Pokemon in a second-generation mini-movie. They were "new" Pokemon at the time. Suicune was shown in CoroCoro before G/S came out. Lati@s were in Pokemon Heroes before Ruby and Sapphire came out. Etc. etc.
 
I looked at the polls and we don't seem to be doing very well but we have time to change it. I'm still having trouble deciding between 2 options but everything else was surprisingly true. I even found out that fire fang can hit wonderguard even if it's not super effective. **The more you know**

Fire Fang can hit Wonder Guard even if its not super effective? ... What do you mean by that? O__O
I thought Fire attacks hit Shedinja...
 
The hacked spiritomb's and sableye's or a Porygon2 Traced Wonder Guard can still be hit by fire fangs (strangely)

Aha! No, I understood it Perfectly... I did not know about Suicune being revealed in CoroCoro... Were Entei and Raikou revealed with him too? Curious, is all... Now everything makes sense.
 
Some of these questions can be very tricky at times. XD.:)
