Hello

pokemon - 20:

4 magnemite, tm
2 magneton, tm
3 magnezone, tm
3 tynamo, nv 38
3 eelektrik, nv
2 zekrom, bw
1 thundurus, ep
1 cleffa, hgss

trainers/supporters 26:

4 junk arm
3 rare candy
3 pokemon communication
3 pokemon catcher
2 switch
4 pokemon collector
4 sage's training
4 N

energy - 14

14 lightning

strategy:
take early prizes with thunderus and try to get energies into the discard. You could otherwise use zekrom. At the same time, set up magnezones and eelektriks, and get as many energy on your bench. When set up, destroy your opponent's pokemon with magnezone's lost burn to win the game. Tornadus is for donphan. Pachirisu is added energy acceleration. Cleffa is for bad starts.
This deck has speed and consistency issues at the start of a game.

Im running this deck as well and I find cleff and tornadus useless. The Donphan counter isn't worth it, unless your meta is heavy with fighting types. I reccomend adding a 4th magnetmite for consistency and because people always catcher it and 1 more catcher. You wanna start thunderous and then tank with zekrom while setting up eels and magnezones.
- cleffa
- tornadus
+ 1 more catcher
+ 4th magnemite for consistency

Ok thanks :) I'll try out these changes. Also, i don't like playing with 2 juniper, sage, N, and pont, so i would like to max out one or two, then drop one, but i'm not sure as to which i want to drop altogether, as they are all quite useful.

I find that most of the time, i don't really need pachirisu, as i've usually got sufficient energy acceleration in my eels, so pachrisu becomes a dead card. Should i replace it with something else, that could be of more use?

I would try this for your supporter problem:
-2 Juniper
-2 PONT

+2 Sage's Training (Max)
+2 N (Max)

Sage's is good, as you can take evolution cards and discard energy to attach with Eelektrik. Also, N is better than PONT, as you can Magnetic draw into 6 even if you only have 1 or 2 prizes left.
Also,

-1 Pachirisu
+1 Magnemite
For consistency.

i like 2 thunderous better in my deck and you dont need tornadus or pachi or zekrom i just run 2 thunderous and 2 pokegear thunderous gets rid of energy alot better, throw in a catcher and a switch

You need to add atleast 1 Zekrom, because it is really useful. It can kill Reshiram (because of Afterburner damage), opposing Zekroms after using Bolt Strike, while Thundurus can't do any of that. Though I still use 2 Thundurus in my Eel/Zone deck. IMO you should use 2 Thundurus and atleast 1 Zekrom.

You need to run 4 Magnemites if you have 3 Magnezones in the deck. It's too much Catcher bait.
I don't see Tornadus being really needed. I would cut the Tornadus and add another Thundurus.
I would cut the Pachirisu to add another Pokémon Catcher.

I've decided to use this at my city championships tomorrow, so i want to take a backup list with a donphan counter in it just incase there is a lot there. However, i can't decide what to take out and put in (tornadus or cryogonal) Which cards can i afford to cut that wil not affect my deck. I've been thinking of cutting a sage's training, but i can't decide.

I'm.... Kinda creeped out, this list look's almost exactly like my list except some of our lines our different.

Also what do you think help's you more, Cleffa? Or the 4th Sage's? Which ever one is less useful to you I would cut it and do this:

-1 Less useful card
-1 Zekrom

+1 Magnezone Prime
+1 Thundurus

The reason I add these is because the 4th Magnezone helps alot with consistancy and Thundurus is the better start in this deck.

I find cleffa less useful, as i rarely use it, so i'll try the deck without it and a fourth magnezone. I'll give an extra thundurus a try aswell. Also, will a donphan counter be necessary, or will i be fine without it?

In Donphan Prime running rampent in your Meta? If so then yes, give it a try, but I don't know what changes to make.

I'm going to check tomorrow before the tournament starts if a lot of people are playing donphan. I've created a backup list incase it is popular. If it is popular, should i use tornadus, or cryogonal and a couple of water energies?

Hmm, that's a tough one. If you think there's just more Fighting in general, use Tornadus, but if it's just Donphan Prime, use Cryogonal and like 2 Water.
