Eelzone, Magneboar, or Reshiboar?

If you run Badboar, regular Reshiram, and a Magnezone tech, then I don't even know what to say to you. That's probably the most inconsistent deck in the world.

I don't know if he knew that, why?

I never said you'd run ALL of them, it was just a list of attackers that can be in Reshiboar. Badboar is only a one card addition, Reshiram's a staple, and Magnezone is an option that ADDS consistency.

I just find it funny.

Magnezone definitely does not add consistency, trust me, I have tried it. Even if you can find room for a 1-0-1 Magnezone line (taking away probably a Mewtwo and a draw supporter), it would be hard to get it out (as you would need to Collector for other things) and even when you did, Magnemite could easily be Catchered and KO'd. When it is KO'd, it puts you in an even worse place as you have 1 less Mewtwo and 1 less draw supporter.

Badboar is a one card addition that is completely useless and a waste of space. You already do 150 on a basic, you don't need to have a card that can do the same thing but has 50 less health, discards energy, and is a Stage 2.

Reshiram is completely personal preference, it is nowhere near to being a staple. I personally don't run it as I find it completely unnecessary, but I know that a lot of other people do like it and run 1-2 of it.

Tried Magneboar against a CAKE variant. (Cobalio, Kyurem, Kyurem EX, Electrode, Mewtwo EX, Regigigas EX, Terrakion, and one other stong basic that I can't remember).

Honestly, against this deck, it was pretty much 50-50. If Magnezone and Emboar get set up, that's game. Even when he catchered my Emboar to stall, I captured his Cobalion and hit it with Emboar's attack for the win. As long as Magnezone and Emboar are set up together, it's unbeatable I think.

That's a pretty big if. Setting up 2 stage two's is easier said than done. Magneboar is outclassed by Eelzone anyway.

It really isn't too hard. Magneboar isn't used to playing from behind, but nowadays, I find that the opponent always takes the first prize because Reshiram just doesn't have enough HP to deal with those EX's one-on-one. But I run a few twins, heavy balls, rare candies and as long as he kills my reshiram, both emboar and magnezone WILL be set up turn 2 or 3. I've been pretty successful with it so far and I hope to continue with it. I'm wondering if I should run a 1-1 line RDL on it. Hmmmmm.

The opponent will just catcher up magnemites and tepigs.

i run 3-2-2 line Emboar and Magnezone so I still set up really fast and have extra tepig and magnemite. I'm pretty sure my opponent ran 3 or 4 catchers and still couldn't catch up to my deck. Even if he sniped one of my tepig or magnemite, I can just twins rare candy-emboar or rare candy-magnezone (whichever he didn't knock out) and set it up for that turn. If he chose to snipe tepig, I'll counter with magnezone next turn. If he snipes magnemite, I'll counter with a Reshi Blue Flare again next turn cause i'll have my Emboar set up.

The problem with that statement is the setting up part.

Went 2-2 at leagues this weekend. You're absolutely right. The two games I won, I was able to set up by turn 2-3. For the 2 games I lost, I couldn't set up AT ALL. I still think I could do ok with the right cards.
