okay so I was testing a magnezone decklist online and it did okay.... but it lost to durant and fighting type in the blink of an eye even other magnezone decks were better than this one so I remade the list and it works alot better now but I'd like some advice here it is!:

pokemon: 19

4-2-3 magnezone Prime (thinking about taking out a magnemite for cleffa, thoughts?)
3-3 Eelektrik
2x Thundurus
1x Zekrom BW
1x Reshiram EX

T/S/S: 25

4x pokemon collector
3x sage's training
3x N
2x catcher
3x Junk Arm
2x Super Rod
3x Rare candy
2x Switch
3x pokemon communication

energy: 16

13x Electric
3x Fire

Strategy:

start with any random basic try to get a T2-T3 magnezone going and throw as many energy as possible into the discard pile before magnezone hits the bench I used to have trouble with durant because zekrom is the only thing I have for it and even more so my fighting weakness, however the answer comes in the form of Reshiram EX with his first attack reshi can score a ko on any durant without having to flip heads and with his second attack he can easily OHKO a terrakion or landorus with eviolite attached! also if I'm not going against fight/durant decks I can use him to communicate magnezone or as junk arm bait :3

lmk what you think, thanks :D

Here's the only problem I see, mind you, I'm not a Magnizone/Eeletrik user, so the concept is kinda new to me, but how do you plan on using Reshiram once the fires are discarded or lost zoned?

well if they get discarded by crushing hammer then I would use super rod if needed (assuming they discarded all my fires) also fire/reshi is a tech for two bad matchups so I don't have to use it often (but when I do I'm glad I did) I try not to LZ fires if possible because like you said an LZ'd energy is no good normally 13 electric is enough, and if I don't need fire then I can LZ them without fear :)

Your list is really solid and I like the creativity but here is what I think. Your missing one game altering component... Mewtwo EX. So I recommend:
- 1 Lightning energy
+1 Mewtwo EX
16 energy is over the top even for EelZone and against any other decks with Mewtwo EX in them yeah you can use Magnezone but Mewtwo is a great finisher, of course if you don't have mewtwo EX (like me :p) you won't have an autoloss it just might be a tougher game to win.

okay thanks for the input! :D I'll definitely test that! (I always thought eelzone was the only deck without a place for mewtwo, but whatever xP)

I also think that Zekrom EX would be a good secondary attacker after magnezone lost burns many energies. It discards 2 and hits for 150 so it will be a pretty good backup, and can be used as a starter too.

-1 Magnemite
+1 Zekrom

Zekrom may be horribly bad now because of EXs, but in a deck like EelZone, I can find it hard to take the last knockout because all my energies are Lost Zoned. If you add a Zekrom, it could take a prize or two for you to help out.

okay I'll try both zeky EX and the extra zekrom ^o^ thanks for the advice!

also what is everyone's thoughts on cleffa in this deck? it has free retreat which is... nice...

cleffa wouldn't make a great starter in my opinion. You want to start discarding energies immediately with thundurus or zekrom EX so I think that those would be better for starters. It's just my opinion.

If you want to. Collector takes care of the basics, and heavy ball takes care of magnezone, but not eelektrik. I'd just stick with communication.

You might want to consider a Cilan to pull out Electrics, and more importantly, fires. Or you could remove all the fires for 4 Prisma and try to add Terrakions/ other big basics like Cobalion.

-1 Thundrus (Only one is needed all game).
-1 Magnemite (just try to go with 3. I'm pretty sure you wont see to much of a difference)
-1 Super Rod (you must REALLY hate durant to run 2 of these, but if it's really that big of an issue, then ignore this)
-3 Fire
+1 Sages T
+1 Terrakion NV (kills Magnezones/ Zekrom EXes/Regigigas EXes ectra)
+4 Prism

Try it out, see how it does. Just wanted to make things a bit interesting ;) Should still workout well. Plus, the opponent wont see your Terrakion drop in a single turn coming (Dynamotor+Prism).

If you want something for the Durant matchup, I'd probably just say use Zekrom B&W. He's probably lighting's best counter to durant since after several bolt strikes he can just use outrage for OHKOs. Running Reshi EX you sacrifice some consistency and pulling the right energy in that durant matchup could prove difficult.

hmm okay I'll try all these Ideas :)

@Jirachi: yeah your kinda right I'll stick to communication until we get ultra ball :(

@EonEye99: yes I hate that miserable insect =P the only reason I didn't want to run prism is because of Lost remover but I heard terrakio is an okay tech so I'll try some of your edits (at which case I could take out reshi?)

@Broken Pokemon EX: yes Zekrom is good.... but he just never seems like enough.... maybe what I should do is avoid benching eels?
