Well, because I'm a VG guy, so, this is gonna be like an RMT .
Intro:
I was thinking that as soon as Next Destinies came out Gothitelle decks weren't gonna be good. and that is what I currently run. So, I decided to find a new strategy, that was just as fun, but much better. So, Eelzone seemed to fit the best. I googled the basic list, and got it. Then I just looked at some new cards (because I might as well have them when it comes out) and saw Raikou EX. I was pretty excited, and noticed that he was back. I had played my own version of Raikou EX back when he was in format, and loved it. Now that something new came out, I decided to try it.
Strategy:
My strategy was the same as Eelzone. Get in there, and set up. I have 4 Magnemites, because, people will just catcher them up, and kill them. This allows me to ensure that Magnezone will have the ability to set up.
After all that has taken place, normally people would use Tornadus to win. Well, because of the new set, and the ability for me to get it, I chose Raikou EX. I know the EX rule kinda cripples this deck, but, with the ability to deal 100 damage, it can easily just go around the need for catchers.
Most baby stallers, such as Tyrogue Magby, and Cleffa will just let me set up. I don't need to really worry about catching another card up, I just send in Raikou EX, and kill their bench. This deck can also lock them into a single card.
Once the Raikou's have reeked havoc, I can begin to attack with Magnezone. I can Dynamotor energies back, and just finish them off.
Reasons for not using some cards:
PokeCatcher - Raikou serves it's purpose. The whole point of PokeCatcher is to catch up threats, and kill them. This doesn't need to be done, because Raikou can just kill them without it.
Pachi- Will add, if really needed, this is just a test, and I need next destinies to be out before I can effectively test.
