*Thena looks at the scythe with raised eyebrows.*
"Wow. All right, let's go."
*She grabs Yusuke and pulls him forward*

(For future reference, is the 'e' in Yusuke pronounced?)

(It's pronounced "You-Zuh-Kay")
*He follows, yawning a bit.*

(Kay)
*She slaps him*
"What's so boring about this?"

 

[Ziggoratt999]

x__X "Ooow... Everything... It's a giant castle, full of nothing. What ISN'T boring about this?"

 

[42 chocolate]

"Deal with the pain. Anyways, there's bound to be something exciting at every turn of your life! You just don't know when it's going to happen. For all you know, a three-headed dog could leap out at us as soon as we climb that staircase!"

*She points to a large spiral staircase*

"Life isn't just one darned thing after another, and I'm going to show you that!"

*She grabs Yusuke and begins to drag him up the spiral staircase*

*He yawns again.*
"Wake me when it's over..."
*He starts to doze as she drags him.*

"Ugh."

*She picks him up and whacks his body against the railing. Hard.*

 

[Zyflair]

The Umbreon roared, a dark energy coat then pulsing out from him, pushing the whole party back.
"Who's first?"
He leaped with great ferocity and landed on Ryam, pinning him. He opened his fangs and bit the fellow Umbreon's neck, draining life and strength to render him useless for the time being, rather than killing him; it was his task to simply get the Eevee, so there was no need for a death.

Mira cursed and slowly got up, taking her rapier that was knocked to the side.

*Chaos shakes in rage at this very sight and charges at the Umbreon, though unsuccessfully due to the coat of dark energy.*

 

[Ziggoratt999]

Yusuke: "OWWW!!!" >.<

*The Eevee cries out in fear.*

 

[42 chocolate]

"Yeah. Don't make me do that again, and pay attention. What are you doing in here, anyways?"

 

[Ziggoratt999]

"I told you... I followed some guy in here..."

 

[42 chocolate]

"Yeah. Whatever. Well, don't get lazy and follow me without making me drag you. Or do you like getting hurt?"

 

[Ziggoratt999]

"Gimme a break... I just wanna rest..."

 

[42 chocolate]

"Fine. Then go somewhere comfortable and rest, and I'll look for your little 'stiff' alone."

*Murmuring to herself*

"Stubborn sonuva..."

*He lies back against a wall, dozing off.*

*Thena continues up the spiral staircase, looking for a sign of intelligent life.*

*She hears a distant click, and something rushing towards her.*

*She extends both arms and rolls up into a protective ball, ready for anything.*
