*Tint can feel his body almost exploding in pain from the energy.*
"Wahh!!! What-What is this?!!!"
*He continues to push forward with every bit of energy he has.*
 
"Enough of this folly," said the Umbreon, raising his paw, creating a black orb. Large gales of black wind sprayed out, slashing Ryam and Mira all over in seconds. Mira screamed out in pain and dropped the rapier and falling onto her knees.

The Umbreon growled.
She's so persistent... Let's get rid of it.
He walked up and knelled, making eye contact. His eyes glowed a scarlet red and Mira's head gem dimmed. She soon realized what was happening.
"N-no!"
She started to use psychic.
 
*Ryam lay there motionless.*
"I'm sorry, I have failed..."
"It's okay, you tried your best..."

"No!"
With a quick spark of bravery, Ellis ran to Mira, trying to force the Umbreon away to protect both Mira and the Eevee.
"Dunno what you want, but ya can't have it!"
 
*Chaos is now unconscious*

Thena: "Well, I guess it's up to me..."
*She runs, with her eyes open, into the blinding light, managing to grab Tint, but then get lost. She is forced to close her eyes.*
"Ugh... I just got us in even more trouble."
 
The Umbreon laughed and grabbed Ellis by the neck.
"I can make you sssssuffer a fate worse than death. Would you still like to defy me?"
 
"I...I might not be able to...to fight...well..."
Ellis's words began coming out slower, signaling that he was choking. As if the grabbing by the neck part didn't give anything away.
"...but you won't...get the Eevee..."
 
He laughed.
"Very brave, and noble. I like it."
He tossed Ellis effortlessly aside into the wall of the darkness.
"I suppose it's only a matter of time before you'll exhaust your efforts, but amuse me."
 
It took Ellis a while to catch his breath, but he got on his feet when he did. Then, he pulled out something from his shirt pocket that he didn't look like he could possess; a spell tag.
'Scrap Barrage!'
He flung the spell tag at the Umbreon. The moment after it was thrown, the tag began to dissolve. In a matter of milliseconds, the tag had completely dissolved. Next thing the Umbreon knew, high-speed junk was flying at him from above him and the 4 cardinal directions.
 
He coated himself in darkness again, warding off the massive pile.
"Oh...? A spiritual sorcerer? Those are rare to come by, even just for amateurs."
Mira cursed, but fumbled, ending back on the ground in her bleeding wounds.
"But I need to waste no time with you all."
The Umbreon started to walk to the Eevee.
 
(I realize that the Umbreon's going to win, btw)
Having exhausted what was most likely his only spell, Ellis had no choice but to lunge towards the Umbreon.
"Get away from da kid!'
He managed to pin the Umbreon to the ground.
"Get away from here, lil' man!"
 
(I know.)
He roared, emitting large amounts of dark energy to blast him away, sending her straight back into the wall, possibly breaking a few bones. With that he slowly got up, growling.
"What a nuisance..."
 
*Chaos stirs, and notices the fighting around him. He grabs the Eevee and begins to run, but cannot manage to due to his wound(ed leg?) He collapses once more and drops the Eevee.*

"Run, little guy. Save yourself. Don't worry about us, we'll find you later."

*He motions for the Eevee to run, but it stays.*


Meanwhile...
*Thena attempts to look around, squinting, but unsuccessfully. Finally, she faints from the blinding light.*
 
(I'm not sure, SotS)
*The Eevee starts running... But towards Mira.*
"Mommy!"

*Thena can feel herself being dragged.*
