This is my first post here, and I hope that I'm posting this in the proper format.. I haven't played the TCG for a few sets, and I was hoping I could have some assistance with making some improvements =]

Pokemon: 18
4-3 Umbreon (1RR/3MD-1MD/2UD)
2 Jolteon RR
2 Flareon RR
2 Vaporeon RR
1 Espeon MD
1 Uxie LA
1-1-1 Nidoqueen (RR)

T/S/S: 27
4 Broken Time Space
4 Pokedex HANDY910is
4 Poke Drawer +
2 Pokemon Communication
1 Pokemon Rescue
1 Luxury Ball
2 Warp Point
2 Rare Candy
2 Seeker
2 Flower Shop Lady
2 Energy Exchanger
1 Bebe's Search

Energy: 15
2 Call Energy
3 Water Energy
3 Fire Energy
3 Lightning Energy
4 Rainbow Energy

What this deck does is gets out the various Eeveelutions at once, and use BTS to swap between different Eeveelutions to keep type advantage. Umbreon MD is to allow free retreats, and UD is for advantages over various Pokemon with Pokebodies and Pokepowers.

EDIT: Updated deck with changes

RE: Eevelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Constructed)

I would either add in more rare candies, or swap nidoqueen line for blissey PL line

RE: Eevelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Constructed)

I'll definitely keep the Blissey in mind. It seems like a great way to heal, and a source of draw power if necessary.. If I do decide to keep the Nidoqueen, I'll definitely use more Rare Candies..That always seemed to be the problem..I'd have the Nidoran/Queen, but not the Rare Candy. Thank you for the idea..Should I use energy exchangers? I was looking around on TrollandToad, and I saw that on the list for one of the new sets..It seems like it could fetch Multi Energy quite fast.

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

Current format is md onwards, so claydol is gone, people generally have to depend on uxie and a supporter called seeker. Night maintance is also out of play generally replaced with palmers contribution or flower shop lady. Also Roseanne's Research is out of format and pokemon collector might be a good replacement. Also multi energy is no longer in set so just rainbow energy instead. And energy exchangers are great early game for getting out call or rainbows.

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

Aside from doing what they said (more Candies, replacing the old staples with the current ones), you can add the new Eeveelutions from Undaunted:
Umbreon UD is an excellent tech against everything with Powers or Bodies (aka 90% of the format);
Espeon Prime is particularly useful in this deck since it copies all of your Eeveelutions' attacks;
And Umbreon Prime can serve as another attacker.

Very nice deck by the way, seems very fun to play

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

Thank you for the great suggestions, and letting me know what I cant use =]

I'll edit the deck later when I get home with some new cards.. I do have a question about Espeon Prime. The attacks of the other Eeveelutions do extra the turn that they are evolved..Would Espeon Prime have to be able to devolve/evolve to use the additional effects, or would devolving/evolving Jolteon/Flareon/Vaporeon work just like that?

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

Espeon Prime cannot devolve itself like the others (since it doesn't copy Poké-Powers). However, if you evolve Eevee to Espeon Prime and use, say, Evolving Thunder on the same turn, it would get the bonus effect. Evolving Thunder, Flare and Aqua refer to the user, so if Espeon Prime copies them, they will get their effects depending on the turn Espeon evolved. (evolving a Benched Eevee to Vaporeon, then copying Evolving Aqua will not activate the bonus effect, for example)

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

I know that Espeon Prime cannot devolve itself, I was just stating a situation =P

Thank you for clearing that up..I may not end up using Espeon Prime, though I was thinking about trying out the other Espeon that moves damage counters from my pokemon to my opponents.

Also, the deck is very fun to play..I tried to aim for consistency by using trainers that thin the deck, (like pokedex handys). I found that the one deck I had trouble playing against at my locals is a rain dance deck (using Feraligatr and Blastoise), but the Umbreon seems like the perfect counter to it. I can't wait to try out these new cards =D

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

No problem at all. :)

Umbreon counters so many things its not even funny. Donphan, Scizor, Charizard, Blastoise... just don't forget that Blastoise can snipe, bypassing Umbreon's protection by hitting your Bench.

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

If this is for unlimited you should be afraid of using that deck in general, if this is for modified, there's solution's.

You're lines make no sense and are all over the place, I wouldn't be surprised if you had issue's getting energy's to the right eeveon's and vice versa. For the most part jolteon, vaporeon and flareon are mainly additional attack, I'd never suggest them as an actuall main line attacker as they're to slow. The main cards you should consider as the mainline of you're deck is umbreon UD, espeon prime, umbreon prime, leafeon UD, glaceon RR, and maybe (I mean if you're good or if you have dumb luck, other wise steer clear) leafeon RR. Each have they're own strategy's so you're best bet is to read around and come up with a new idea for a deck list. cya

Edit, the only way to make J,V,and F RR work is to run them in a deck where there's always a constant evo line setup for those three other wise it's a waste if you mix them with another eeveon strat (I've only seen one succesful of that kind of deck but it didn't last very long cause it had horrid setup's).

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

Did you read his strategy? The idea is to use several different Eeveelutions to keep gaining bonus effects and type advantage. His lines are not all over the place, and with Call Energy and Eevee's Sign of Evolution/Call for Family it has decent starts.

Edit, the only way to make J,V,and F RR work is to run them in a deck where there's always a constant evo line setup for those three other wise it's a waste if you mix them with another eeveon strat (I've only seen one succesful of that kind of deck but it didn't last very long cause it had horrid setup's).
That's exactly what he is doing. I didn't suggest him to alter his strategy, I wanted to help further improve it. That's more helpful than saying "your attackers are slow replace your entire deck with something else cya".

RE: Eeveelutions (Unlimited but I want to make it Modified)

Thank your help ShineVini =]

Varit, as for getting the correct energies to my "Eeveons", a single multi (now rainbow) and another energy of any type allows it to use the boosted move.. I'll probably end up using the Umbreon UD quite a bit as one of my main attackers, so I should most likely get two..

I'm going to update my deck right now.. As for the changes I made,

-1 Espeon MD (Needed room for Umbreon, and I'd like to keep Umbreon MD for it's pokebody)
- 2-2 Claydol due to making the deck Modified
+2 Umbreon UD

-2 Night Maintenance
-1 New Theory
-1 Roseanne's Research
-1 Bebe's Search
+2 Rare Candy
+2 Seeker
+2 Palmer's Contribution
+2 Energy Exchanger

-4 Multi Energy
+4 Rainbow Energy

How does that sound?

No problem at all! :)

Only thing I see is that you definitely don't need 4 Rare Candies just for Nidoqueen, especially when you already have 4 BTS. Remove 2 of them and add 1 Nidorina (works good with BTS) and 1 Espeon MD (the extra HP is worth the spot). Nidorina + BTS is better than 4 Candies by far, and you still have a huge number of trainers to make your deck run smoothly. You might even drop more Candies if you can get Nidoqueen out without them, but only testing will tell.

Other than that, looks good, but try to get 3 Pokemon Collectors and a couple Bebe's Search. Something like:
-4 Pokedex
-1 Pokemon Rescue

+3 Collector
+2 Bebe

Oh ok lol..I saw the comment saying I needed more rare candies, so I figured that meant 2 more XD

I dont know if I can get pokemon collectors, (theyre $5 each on trollandtoad, and I'm gonna see if I can get some at my locals tonight/tomorrow)..I like pokedex as it's deck thinning =p

So..

-2 Rare Candy
+1 Nidorina
+1 Espeon MD

As for the trainers, I currently have one bebe's search, so I'll try 4 pokedex and a bebe's search until I get the other cards to test out.

Someone also just bought the last palmers contributions, so i guess ill use flowershop ladies until I can get some >.<

Pokedex's thinning effect sure is good, I like it too. I just suggested Collector because its a really, really useful card, but your current line is by no means bad. If you want a short term replacement for Collector, use Great Ball.

They did get expensive... back when I bought them (June/July 2010) I got my foil playset for 3 or 4 dollars each. At least you already have a playset of BTS (its going for 9 dollars iirc).
