Guiding questions:
1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
5. How's the artwork?
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

Posts MUST be more than one sentence long with proper grammar and spelling or they will be deleted.

Another option being implemented is Video Card Reviews. Please read: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=92303 for more information.

Also read about the new changes to this Forum in the way cards are being posted and the way you review here: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=92623. Please use the questions posted in this thread and not the other set.

1. Well to get started x2 Weakness gets pwned by Machamp easily. However the Staple -20 for Steel types is always good against Steelix, DGX etc. Retreat is costly but if played right it can be avoided with out having to regret it. 100 hp.... Could be uh...maybe 20 better.

2. No powers or bodies, but this card with/without belt can do some serious snipe damage witha 50 spread for any energy attached to any pokemon on the opponents side of the field with Thunder Shot. Plasma is good when you need to retreat and throw someone else up.

3. Electrode Prime can deffinitally help with its bulky retreat. Energymite for some energy and attach them to Electivire, then grab them back with Plasma if you need to retreat. Also it can help with energy circulation with multiple Electivire on the bench (Retreat and Plasma them back as I mentioned earlier).

4. Nothing I can really think of to combat its weak points. Maybe a Fighting counter like Machamp SF, X or Prime. Possibly a Psychic of choice (Espeon Prime and Gengar Prime and X combo come to mind.)

5. I love the Artwork 5/5 I love how Toika made Electivire looklike its about to blackout an entire city by sucking electricity. Just looks like a tank waiting to fire its shells.

6. 3.5 out of 5. Weakness and Retreat are the only bad things about this card IMO.

1. The 100 Hp isn't great, but it's better than 80. Bad weakness, good resistance, would be great with sunnyshore stadium. Retreat cost sucks, but Dodrio UD could help that.
2. Plasma is a good attack that could lead to a turn two Thunder Shot under the right conditions. It's also nice to see a Lightning type pokemon that doesn't have to discard energy to use it's attacks. That is by far the most annoying aspect of Lightning types in my opinion.
3. Combo it with any spread builds and it becomes gnarly. Your opponent won't want to spread much energy around, because it will open up more damge. Darkrai Cressellia Legend could work here, moving damage around to create KOs.
4. Sunnyshore Stadium for weakness, Houndoom CL/UD for fighting counter, Expert belt for more damage/suvivability, Dodrio UD for retreat, etc.
5 It's pretty cool, one of the better arts. I wish more were drawn in this style.
6. I'd give it a 3 out of 5. Nothing to get too excited about. But it's one of few rares I won't rip.

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
100 hp for stage 1 is average. Not many fighting pokemon have hit the meta game so weakness isn't bad. Can't see resistance helping (unless against steelix). Hefty retreat cost but i wont see a need for retreating for this guy.
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
In my opinion the 2nd attack is extremely good.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Use it with ampharos prime???? Don't know if thats a combo.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Sunnyshore city gym????
5. How's the artwork?
I like it hes like IMA CHARGIN UP MAH LAZORS.

3.5/5

1)For an HGSS-on card, its pretty ok in the HP area. Weakness is as expected, resistance can't hurt. The retreat is bad, especially under trainer lock.
2)Its attacks help each other and allow it to attach extra energy with damage. 50 spread is pretty crazy.
3)Can combo with Ambipom G (or any Tail Code attack) to move energy around and then Thunder Shot. Also, can combo with Rotom (UD). When they see Electivire, they may start piling energy onto 1 pokemon, then drop a Rotom and Plasma Arrow for 20xenergy on that pokemon.
4)Switch/Warp Point, etc
5)Artwork is pretty mean looking. Great for such a potentially damaging pokemon.
6)4.5/5 I like it. (Am actually building a test for fun with it right this second.)

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
100 hp for a stage 1 is good, but x2 fighting weakness hurts it. Metal Resistance is a nice bonus and 3 retreat cost is painful.
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
Plasma is awsome with a 30 damage + lighting energy retrival for 1 lightning energy! Thunder Shoot is another Amazing attack. Doing 50 damage to every pokemon with energys on it is seriously powerful.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Anything that can spread damage around.
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Expert Belt to up Damage and Health would be cool. Weakness Guard and other Weakness removing cards help as well.
5. How's the artwork?
4.5/5 Even though it looks kinda fat, it looks quite angry and powerful!
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5 The attacks are awesome, but the stats hurt this card.
