Strategy:

It's really just a standard Empoleon deck; attack command does a lot of damage, diving draw is a powerful abilitythen Dusknoir to save damage on the board. Leafeon is a nice secondary attacker to have, it's good against Plasma, Darkrai/Yveltal, and Blastiose/Keldeo. Exeggcute is for diving draw discards, Jirachi EX adds to consistency because of all the balls I run. Sawk is for Plasma and a little bit for Darkrai; most importantly, he OHKO's Absol, but other than that, while he can't pull off any OHKO's on plasma, he drops a lot of damage on the board for Dusknoir to play with, or if Dusknoir is in play, it can set up an OHKO for Sawk to get. Again, nothing really out of the ordinary here, I'm just trying to shape up the list. I appreciate any help of suggestions anyone can give; thanks in advance!

First of all, I believe you've only listed 59 cards and since I see no Duskull in your list, that is probably your 60th card.

I too have built and played this deck, and from my experience, I'd suggest:

  • Consider running a 2-2 Dusknoir line; a 1-1 line is far too inconsistent.
  • Not running Jirachi EX at all. For the 1 time you might use it to get a Supporter is a steep price for the 2 prize target you just benched. Besides, with 9 card draw Supporters and Diving Draw, is it really that effective?
  • Some players think Plasma decks won't be that popular any longer since Pyroar is now available. So, Sawk may also be ineffective; so, consider replacing that Poke too.
  • Why Town Map? What about Pokemon Center instead?
  • With only 7 W energy, you may not draw into needed energy when needed consistently. so, I'd suggest adding at least 1 Professor's Letter which would then give you 12 outs (4 skylas + the PL in addition to the 7W) to access energy.
I hope you find these comment helpful.

I would remove the piplup since you're running 4 candies, take out sawk and jirachi ex. consider adding some good bench sitters with abilities to combo with empoleon's attack. take out town map and you probably don't need all of those pokeballs. Add a few more energy. IMO

(He doesn't mean Piplup, he means Prinplup. Or at least that's what I've gathered.) ~Kecleon

I'm thinking of removing Jirachi, and at the moment I'm still testing Sawk; what would you suggest I put in for the Jirachi?

Ok, I'll give that card a go.

The town map is nice because choosing what prize cards I pick is very helpful in here, and with Dusknoir I can get prizes mid-turn. I've tried a 2-2 Dusknoir line before and it was kind of clunky, I may give it another shot though.
