BW/BW2 English Names For Revealed Pokemon

I highly agree. Except for the starters though.

I want Tsutaja to be Smugleaf, Mijumaru to be Uglotter (Ugly + Otter) and the pig Flarehog.

I can't pronounce most of them!
 
Some of those names could be pretty close. there are some Pokemon names that are only 2 words.

Lickitung
Lickilicky
Magikarp
Budew
Swinub
Pidgey


If those names(and a few others) weren't real Pokemon names, It would be hard to believe you. But some of your fakenames are believable.
 
So far, I've only come up with names for a few of these guys. But it's better than calling them by long names I can barely pronounce or remember.

I like Snivy for Tsutaaja, probably because his name is already 'snake' and 'ivy' to begin with.

Wotter for Mijumaru, for a simple reason: As I was once told, Wotter sounds like a toddler struggling to say otter. As I once responded, Mijumaru looks like a toddler struggling to make an otter.

Pigrill (pig and grill) is my favorite for Pokabu so far.

Zapra and Crocodune for Shimama and Meguroko respectively.

I like Electula for Denchura. =P
 
I came up with all these except for pignition
Pignition --> Pokabu
Snayleaf --> Tsutaaja
Clamter --> Mijumaru
Spightning --> Darenchula
Sarcodeath/Tombagus --> Sarcophagus

Lol if Nintendo was cool they would name is Pignition, but since they are Nintendo they will probably name it Oinkflame.

ANYWAY... I still wish we had more information on the new ones other than 5 names and 2 backs.

It's hard enough to name Chiramii with the information because Chinchilla is hard to work with. xD

pokabu: Oinkistion( Oink and combustion){R}
Mijumaru: Otorivature ( otter river immature){W}
Tsutaaja: Slithivy ( Slither Ivy){G}
Shimama: Zeezap ( zebra zap){L}
Munna: Dreamor( dream)
Mamepato: dovatoot 9 dove, heart, toot)
Hihidruma: Burboon:( baboon, burn)

Larvitar-Looking-Thing- (Need to see the full colored sprite and what type he is)

I like that name! It's better than what I came up with :shy: Deathcoghagus
And, somebody pointed out that it's too long to be a real name anyway ;_;
 
Two new Pokemon revealed!

Nezumimi- It kind of sounds like Chiraami, but I'll have to see it to name it.
Unnamed- I'll have to see it to name it.
The one with a drawing looks a bit like Gligar.
 
Someone mentioned Crookodile on another site, and I'm rather fond of that name. If that's not the official name, it'll take a while to adapt.

Puffbat, someone mentioned earlier, is quite good, actually.

Also, Electula is not bad. Someone was calling it Teslantula, and given how many shared letters that name has over Electula, I think I prefer it.
 
When you get used to something, it's often hard to envision it with different properties. The names are one example. While I'd love the names to stay the same, They're obviously going to change to appeal to the English fanbase (the ones who haven't heard of the new pokemon yet).

I'm still gunning for Pignite, Gear, and Crocodune. Zorua and Zoroark MUST remain the same. I'm sure everyone agrees; they have to. As for the others, I am clueless.
 
The only names I like so far are Crocodunem Zapra, Pignition, and Gear. I hope Koromori's name has something to do with puffball (It reminds me of a giant puffball with wings... which I'm digging.)

mamepato- dilgeon( diligent+pigeon: because its Japenese name is supposedly a combonation of those two words)
tsutaaja-serplant(serpant+plant)
pokabu-pignite( pig+ignite)
mijumaru-wotter( water+otter)

im thinking for the ghost mummy thing it should be called sarcophaggot!
i think the names for pokabu's evolutions should be pignition and emboar( pig+ignition and ember+boar)
