I'll keep saying like that cause Muh-gear-na sounds really dumb while Mah-gee-are-na sounds closer to the japanese name pronunciation.

yeah but you're entirely losing the intent of the japanese pronunciation, which was always clearly supposed to be "muh-gear-na" but that's what happens when phonetics limit loan words
